Neil has been a great help in our major renovation project. From the outset he showed his professionalism and industry knowledge with a detailed walkthrough discussing what work needed to be done and what options were available. From that he put together a comprehensive quote highlighting the scope of work and associated costs. We decided to go ahead with Neil, he wasn't the highest quote or the lowest, but we felt confident he would produce quality results and be someone we could work well with.

And over the course of almost a year, this really proved to be true. Neil's a master electrician who we relied on to do work to code and to come up with good solutions whenever problems came up. We always felt that any additional changes we wanted or work that had to be done outside of the original quote was fairly handled.

We worked with many contractors and trades during this project - Neil was one of the best and someone we'd want to work with again. He's a big guy with a great sense of humour. Neil's hardworking, takes pride in his work, takes care of his tools, and is willing to share his knowledge and discuss options to help you make the right decisions. Your in good hands with Neil. Neil did a great job running power to my garage and setting up my EV charger. To accomplish this we also had to update the panel in our basement. Neil was friendly and professional. The charger has been running for a few months now without any issues. I am happy with his work.

Leveraging my network I was introduced to Breena and Neil , the owners of Nu-Phase Electric Ltd. to install my newly purchased Telsa Gen 3 Wall Connector in advance of my pre-ordered Model Y. Given the BC EV Charger Rebate was soon ending March 31st, I thought it would take forever to find an electrician to perform the work. Neil not only came to the house the next day to provide a free estimate, I received the contract that night with a booking within a week to get the job done. Neil was funny, friendly and genuinely a pleasure to have around. He didn't mind me asking lots of questions to satisfy my own curiosity and he did things by the book. Neil was extremely knowledgeable and professional with the issue we had with our booster fan. He diagnosed the issue and shortly there after he had the problem fixed. I would definitely recommend him as his deserves 6 out of 5 stars! Thank you!

Neil was very friendly and professional. He was also very efficient - he quickly assessed the problem with my baseboard heaters, and he came back to install new ones (and thermostats) in a couple of hours. He also followed up with me to make sure everything was working properly. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

Neil showed up initially to ensure I had all I needed to do a kitchen renovation a month ago, but there at the time was no work to be done. However, since he left a great impression - when I did discover I needed a few things looked at - I called him back early this year to come take a look.

Neil is super responsive, thorough, and professional. He made quick and tidy work of solving the electrical needed done (moving a few plugs, figuring out where power ran) and taught me a few things in the process. On top of all that, I feel like he was very available to come out and look on relatively short notice, and charged very reasonable pricing for the work done. I would 100% hire Nu Electric again to do future work.

Neil has done a couple of projects for us - most recently he moved an electrical outlet to accommodate a new washer/dryer. His communication leading up to the job was great, he arrived on time and was finished sooner than expected. He did a thorough job cleaning up afterwards. We’re very happy with the quality of his work & won’t hesitate to call him again.

There was also general wiring and lighting work performed.
Neil dealt directly with BC Hydro and the City which made things simple for us.
He was exceptionally accommodating to our needs and schedule.
