Back in the summer of 2013, we knew our project was a big one and we called about 7-8 companies to provide quotes. Couple of them never bothered to show up, but out of ones that did only Bogdan seemed trustworthy enough. He was very patient in listening to our expectations, honest in providing us advice, mindful of financial commitment on our part and sensitive to us having a 2 year old and expecting a newborn in a midst of a major renovation project. Our property had a fairly large backyard covered in 20 year old interlock with about 6 flower beds a very awkward slope and a pool in the middle of it. Our 8 car asphalt driveway and front yard landscaping also had to be redone. Bogdan was very upfront with us about the amount of work this project required, some collateral damage required to complete it (part of pool shed and pergola had to be removed to allow machines to pass through) as well as any issues that came up during the project that were not in the original plan. Each issue was brought up well in advance so it didn’t delay the project and it was dealt with quickly. Bogdan was also honest about telling us he would get other companies to deal with our pool issue of pool pipe replacement and gas line replacement as well as laying down the new asphalt for the driveway. He recommended the companies he worked before, but gave us a choice of finding somebody else if we so desired. He actually saved me at least $3000-$4000 by insisting with the pool company the current pool liner could be left in place and that he would be able to place the coping around the pool with extra work on his part that he was willing to undertake at no extra cost to him. It was an absolute pleasure working with Bogdan. We had numerous compliments on our back and front yards and one of the most impressive things was how he rushed and worked long hours to finish the backyard before we brought our new born baby home from the hospital. Backyard is right below its room and we feared the noise of the machines would bother and scare the newborn, however, Bogdan had the yard finished by the time we came back and has already moved to the front yard. He started the work earlier than agreed (once he cleared with us it was ok) and finished it within 15% of the original quote, but this was in some part due to us choosing to go with some more expensive options. All of the interlock, coping around the pool and flower beds are still holding strong even after the strong winter. We already did and will highly recommend Bogdan and Landpol to anyone. It was great to see him back around our neighbourhood working on a few of our neighbours’ yards!

When Bogdan came to my house to provide a quotation, I knew that I had found my man. No additional quotes were needed. The price seemed reasonable and Bogdan presented his qualifications and capabilities well.

Bogdan commenced work sooner than promised and finished within the timeframe specified. He concentrated on my site during the entire project; no intermittent delays that may occur when a contractor is involved with two or more projects at the same time.

Most important, Bogdan's quality of work is excellent. Not only does Bogdan insist on the highest standards of workmanship, his final product is a work of art!

Bogdan was personally and completely involved during the entire project. At every step, he explained what he was doing, how, and why. He made suggestions that improved my original design and contributed to the quality of the finished project.

Excellent work at a reasonable price. What more can you ask? My recommendation of Bogdan is unequivocal. Go ahead and get a second quote if you want, but you will be wasting your time.

During the recent storm three branches fell on our driveway blocking it completely. We called the city but they were not able to help us. My husband then remembered that Landpol that did a beautiful patio on our property this fall, used a machine to move heavy rocks that maybe could remove the branches. We called Bogdan and although he said that he never did anything like this, he said he is willing to help. He came right away and in half an hour our driveway was cleared. We strongly recommend this great landscaper with a big heart. Thank you Bogdan!

Landpol boys replaced the existing front steps and the frontyard that we inherited from the previous owners and created a beautiful natural stone entrance stairs and a practically maintenance free frontyard design of decorative grasses, stones, and shrubs all covered nicely with mulch. The best thing is that I will no longer have to water the grass :). I strongly recommend them for such transformations!
