These guys were total pros, so well choreographed, it was very cool to watch. They came on two of the hottest days of the year and did a great job. Not one nail on the ground, very thorough cleanup and my new roof looks really great. Polite crew, took the care to wave at a little girl who was watching them in awe. I will definitely recommend Stewart Roofing to anyone needing roof work.

Having determined that I needed a new roof this spring I went about looking for a reliable roofer. There were many to choose from. I consulted the Yellow Pages and BBB. I selected 3 roofers who appeared to have been in business for sometime. I selected Stewart not because they were the lowest but the manner in which they conducted their business. Most important was they offered the best guarantee for their work and materials. They were prompt in answering all my questions and Stan, the owner, dealt with me directly.
Work was started as promised with a personal visit by Stan and his Operations Manager. The crew that was assigned to my job was friendly and professional. They explained in detail what they were doing. Even though I had an unexpected additional cost of adding another layer of plywood,they showed me why it was needed.
They finished the work on time and the written warranty from the shingle manufacturer was received. I was very pleased with the workmanship. As Stan said " You own the house and I own your roof" I would recommend Stewart Roofing without hesitation.

Denis was super prompt coming out and doing a very thorough quote. He showed me what was wrong with the roof, where the leaks were and where the flashing was done wrong. I got 3 other quotes and they were in the same few hundred dollars of the lowest price but a much more thorough quote with a 50 yr warrantee. Denis was by far the best estimator that came out.

The crew came out within 2 weeks and completed the job in a day. They replaced all flashings, roof penetration gaskets and vents. The clean-up was very thorough too.

We were very impressed by the workmanship of Stewart roofing. Hard workers working in the hot Ottawa summer to get the job done efficiently and on time. There was only a 2 week turnaround time from the time we signed the contract to the completion of the roof. This was paramount for us as our aging roof needed to be replaced ASAP. It must be noted that the day after the roof was completed Stan took the time out of his personal schedule to come and inspect the property for errant roofing nails in driveways, bushes, lawn, etc. and ensure the job was completed. And not only that, Stewart roofing stand by the warranty of the shingle in case there are any unforeseen faults that could occur. Win-Win.

Stan,this is the first roof I have ever had to install on a house. (fall of 2011) I am very particular and took some time investigating and getting quotes from different companies.I soon learned some companies didn,t give all the details trying to keep their estimates low. Stewart roofing did a house on my street the summer before. I had the phone number I had written down off of your truck and decided to give you a call. Thank God I did. Right from the beginning I felt comfortable and informed. Everything was explained to me thoroughly so I could understand. I wasn,t made to feel ignorant when I asked questions. Every one of your employees from beginning to end did a great job. The roof was done amazingly quickly and the clean up was impecable. We recently had a new roof installed by Stewart Roofing. They were very professional in helping us select roofing products - explaining options, answering all questions and looking after every detail. Besides being solid and complete with a drip edge and rain channels, the roof has given the house a stylish look. The workmanship was excellent and delivery was on time. Our roof needed to be replaced, we knew it. Plywood was original, our house was built in 1959, not surprising really. The cost came in very reasonable for what we asked to be done, but the company went above and beyond. From the person who put out the sign, to the roofers on our house, to the foreman, to Stan himself. All professionals, pleasant, timely, respectful. Our roof looks like a million bucks, and although it didn't come close to costing us that, the job was worth every penny. They cleaned up very well after themselves and even came back to check on the job. I can't tell you how many horror stories I have heard about contractors/companies. I contacted "Stewart Roofing Ltd" for an intermittent slow leak in my flat roof above one of the bedrooms. Stan Stewart came to my place for assessment and from the first phone conversation to the moment he left my place I was impressed by his professionalism, kindness and willingness to help. He identified the problem (a vertical flashing far from the place of the leak where the rain could get only pushed by NW wind), fixed it and took the time to explain the problem and to give me advice on various roof maintenance issues. Stan did not accept any payment saying he just came for a free estimate...
