An assisted review is collected by a contractor on behalf of the homeowner after their work is completed. The homeowner must confirm the text of the review and may make any changes she or he deems appropriate. The homeowner then assigns the contractor a review score out of 10. Assisted reviews receive the same scrutiny as other reviews and must follow our review guidelines.
I had Sea To Sea Painting do both my own home a year ago, and my Mother's house this year for complete exterior house painting and am very pleased about their service and quality of work. The work was completed on time as contracted, the site cleaned up after the job, and protected during the project.

I have had a lot of experience dealing with contractors and learned that the lowest price is not always the best deal. In this case while not the lowest cost, the price was fair, given the quality of materials. A cheap price today is soon forgotten after 4 years when it needs to be redone. Labour costs are relatively fixed, so the greatest variable in project cost is the material cost.
In both my cases I chose a Flood stain from Nobel, that while expensive to buy, should be cheaper in the long run and yield acceptable quality over the anticipated 15 year life of the project.
There are no shortage of painting contractors and how does one choose? Sea To Sea did 2 great jobs for me and comes highly recommended.

Thanks Robert for the review. I used the same products on both the houses we did for you. Great choices. Interesting, I was thinking about the product longevity of what we put on your homes. I did a job for a customer close to you with the same products. She wanted something that would last, but the person on the other side of the duplex wanted cheap. So they hired a low cost company with cheap products, and she hired us, and although the price was more, it was not that much more. I drove by recently, and the neighbours house looks like its ready to repaint, and my clients looks we just painted it. In our rainy B.C. weather a little more spent now, will save you in the long run...
