10/10, because after speaking with Milo about our experience, he was more than reassuring that our concerns would be addressed. May 15th, technician installed 3 under-mount sinks and faucets; 2 porcelain bathroom sinks and 1 stainless kitchen sink. Piping to one bathroom sink sinks not aligned evenly to cutout, and silicone was smeared in sinks and noticeable on edges. He breezed through those sinks after first attempting the kitchen sink. Upon initial attempt at sizing out kitchen sink to cutout, he scratched it at the emblem. Sink was then turned around to not see the scratch, and suggested that having the drain closer would be more comfortable than reaching across. Centering the sink seemed a challenge. Pointed out more than once, that one corner wasn't rightly aligned with c-top edge. Sink was cross strapped which caused movement. Only one corner was supported by a piece of wood while the silicone set, and it was silicone he didn't prefer, but took it anyway when handed to him at supplier that a.m. The silicone job was a mess. On checking, I noticed the one corner still not rightly aligned and mentioned it. Later on I could hear rubbing sounds, on checking I saw the sink was out, he was rubbing silicone off cutout edges. To save time, I starting helping. He went to Home Depot for silicone removal products and different sealant. While he did errand, I worked on silicone removal from cutout edges with my own supply of alcohol and paper towel. Technician tried silicone removal products with minimal effect. Together we used the alcohol and paper towel. When satisfied with cleanup, smaller amount of new sealant applied to edge of sink with old silicone left on to act as a added barrier. Sink reinstalled. Without help, he might not have left before 7p. May 16th: After cleaning sink and cutout edges of silicone, I noticed one corner sagging. Checked all straps, one was loose. Called Mr. Swirl. Technician who installed sink answered. He came over. When tightened strap, opposite one popped out. Alarming! He was willing to reinstall but needed to get more sealant. He went to Home Depot. While on his way back, I decided to wait until I got a new faucet, because the one installed had too low water volume. In the meantime Milo of Mr. Swirl was contacted about the experience. I was expecting the "brush-off" and to be fed a few lines just to get rid of me. But that didn't happen, Milo LISTENED, and without hesitation, expressed a willingness to help remedy the problem. I BREATHED a sigh of relief! Yet at the same time a bit confused, because we live in a world now where excellence no longer seems to be a standard or motto, but rather one of "smoke and mirrors" and feeding people lines to "brush them off" so to provide minimal service to save the most money, and do whatever is passable by industry standards, rather than hold true to what one's own standards are, and on that, base their reputation. For once, as a consumer I felt respected! Milo, Thank You! At this point in time, I feel safe in your company's care. Thank you Amy; a Steady, Nonjudgmental, Friendly Voice and Help-filled Disposition. WOW!!! You, are an asset to Mr. Swirl!!!
