We experienced Brians work on our next door neighbours front steps and were impressed. We had Parker back to fix our steps and retaining wall and he worked the same magic.

Our mid century flagstone front steps from were really damaged from wear, ice and salt. We considered removing them all together but Bryan and Shelley made them look absolutely perfect, restoring the original MCM look of our home.

From responding to my request on homestars, to a site visit, quote, and job completion was just a couple of weeks. He was super responsive and communicated well - ie. giving me exact ETA's to arrival times, quoting quickly, and working overtime to get the job done in a day.

Friendly:
It took seconds to realize that Brian is charismatic, energetic, and truly enjoys what he does. You'll notice very quickly that Brian is the type of guy with thousands of friends and not a single enemy.

Professional:
Brian gave an honest and incredibly thorough evaluation of our house. We weren't sure how much work would be required and frankly, we ended up doing a lot less than originally anticipated. He was very honest and in some cases he even told me how to do the repair myself. He even gave me a tuck pointing bag in case I wasn't going to have him and his wife do the job. He was respectful of our neighbours (even noticed a window was open a crack and waited until it was closed before creating dust). They left our place very clean and tidy.

Perfectionist:
His extensive experience (particularly with older homes like my 1920s home) was clear. He really took the time to explain and help me understand what needed to be done and why. He and his wife make a dynamic duo. Hard working. Diligently cleaning as they go. They were careful, confident, and went over and above the initial scope of work because doing the job to the highest standard is all they know how to do. They used only high quality materials and the results were perfect.

Brian had previously tuckpointed our house and last week he replaced large stones on a third floor dormer. He and his wife Shelly did a great job. The stones look amazing and Brian sent photos of the work regularly. The stones were secured with huge bolts and will be there long after I am gone.

A retiring mason evaluated the foundations of our 1926 home and felt it was too big of a job for him. He advised me to be careful selecting a company. Proper technique would be necessary to ensure bonding of the parging that would last more than 10 to 15 years of a quick job with a low quote.
We are very pleased with the results after hiring Parker Restorations. Brian's knowledge and experience was just what I was looking for. He and Shelley worked hard for 5 days removing multiple layers of old parging, filling gaps then adding several layers of new parging. They also did tuck pointing of spots on 3 sides of the house. The before and after photos capture the quality of their work. Highly recommended!

Bryan and Shelly are extremely nice, knowledgeable and passionate about their work. They go above and beyond to make sure the job is done with exceptional precision. Most importantly they really value doing things right and do not take short cuts. All of this and their price is competitive.

Brian and Shelley really know what they are doing. We mistakenly covered up our home’s historic limestone foundation and they knew all about what to do. Their hard work paid off and now we are very happy to have the foundation restored and looking beautiful.

Brian also found some water damage which he addressed with a thoughtful repair. The cost for both services was still less than the quote we received from another company for only the foundation repair.

Brian and Shelley are meticulous, reliable, and very knowledgeable about masonry and restoration and lots in between. I highly recommend them for any project but especially for homes that are over 50 years old because they know better than most contractors what is - and is not - required.
