Check Better Business Bureau, Jacques Home Furnishings have been filed 22 complains in just 36 months,(there will lots more than 22 comoplains since better business bureau does not keep records over three years) it shows lots of issues still unresolved, I wish I had done more reserch on their company before I placed order, also Yelp have lots of hided customer reviews showing this company have lots of problems with their products and service, several customer end up to take them to court to get the problem resolved, very bad business practices, total breaking the records of the industry. Aboslutly like the previous review on Yelp by Shane. This store is the " worst in town " and " CUSTOMER SATISFACTION NO LONGER MEANS ANYTING TO JACQUES HOME FURNISING AFTER THE SALES IS DONE"
It was the worst experience I have ever had with a furniture company, after I had been traped by the small deal I got from the owner Cliff who is an absolutly talker, with beautiful smile and professional manner before I gave the money, once the issue happend, he changed his face so suddenly and yelling and sreaming over the phone treated me like I was one of his employee, he is going to make me loose job if I do not accept the damaged furniture cause by their guys delivery as is, I was so shocked how a person would have two face like that and changed so suddenly until I did my search online and found all the bad reviews from their previous customer and claim records from BBBm, this is always the way they treat their customer which is truly abusement on customer relationship.
My story begins with the delivery was a mess and two pieces of furniture was damage cause by their delivery guys and one chair have manufacturer defects, the delivery guys told me the service techinician will come and fix everything but nothing was done until today which and been over two months from the time of first delivery because I had been told that their service guy was always out of town. One big vanity for up stairs was sent in one piece was never been mentioned by the owner there will be any concern on delivery at time of order, three delivery guys who was at my house at first delivery did not be able to move it at all (it was over 550 pound piece and my stairs is on the side with tilt skylite ceiling) and the delivery guy had address the concern of the weight and size of the piece and we had measured the stairs and piece and did not think it will work, I came to the store and talked to Cliff who is most difficult person to deal with, he did not want to return or credit even I said I would use the credit to buy something else from his store, he said this vanity is designed to be delivered to up stairs in one piece like that even without checking my stairs and house situation or check with his workers, he want to do the second attempt and promised won't cause any damage on the wall and floors. I wish I would stop them, the second attempt was a nightmare, the five guys was stucked in the mid of the stairs when they trying to move the big heavy piece and scrathed my walls, stairs and even my skylite ceiling wall and caused the damage on the vanity pieces also with marks, scraches and dents ! Guess what, the owner cliff said the damages cause by their guy with his instruction will be on me since this is their company policy !!! They were trying to trap customer to have them to sign an unfair agreement at time of purchasing, be aware !!!
