I purchased a cleaning package on special through Canada Maid Service and am extremely dissappointed/frustrated with the outcome. I had an appointment scheduled at 8:00am today for a full 8 hour cleaning, and by 9:30 nobody had come. I called the company and left messages, but did not receive a call in return. I called and emailed the company numerous times - feeling very anxious to get this cleaning done as I am having 40 people over to my home tomorrow and wanted it clean!
I finally reached them at approx. 10:30am, at which point they let me know a maid would not be coming out to my house and I could reschedule. They offered to reschedule for next Wedensday instead. I told them I did not want to reschedule, and I was depending heavily on their services to have a clean home for my guests TODAY. I let them know that if they are unable to deliver the services for today, I would like a full refund. They did not agree, and the supervisor was apparently going to call me back. It is now 12:00 noon and I have not heard from them.
I had called to confirm my original appointment twice prior to today, to ensure the maid would be coming. I am very frustrated with the outcome, as I have left cleaning to the last minute before my party - completely counting on this company. Now it also seems as though obtaining a refund will be difficult.
I spoke with a co-worker, and they had the exact same experience with Canada Maid Service - booked and paid for an appointment, and the maid was a no-show. I DO NOT RECOMEND THIS COMPANY!
