Charlie was the only handyman out of the three I called to return my call. He came to our house when he said he would, gave us a reasonable quote on our job and then came back when promised and did a terrific job on the repair we needed.
I would definitely recommend Charlie to others.

After moving into our house over 2 years ago, the list of jobs that just never got done kept growing....until we called Charlie. Charlie went through our list and our house and agreed to do all the work, no matter how odd the job was, including climbing outside to our second strory to fill in a bird nest hole in the stucco under our eavestrough. Charlie was very professional and when my 2 year old son breaks a toy, he asks for Charlie to fix it. His prices were extremely fair and we hope to have him back again soon - before our list grows too long!

My backyard fence was falling apart and we needed it fixed, We contacted Mr. Rescue who replied to my email about 30 minutes after I sent it. Charlie was professional and courteous and came out to examine the fence about 2 days later. His estimate was prompt and fair. The bad weather kept Charlie from finishing his working as quickly as he would have liked but he was back the first day sunny day and finished the whole job. He was quiet and respectful of my bushes and was a pleasure to deal with. I've already asked him to come back for a few more jobs. I wouldn't hesitate recommending him.

I had a leaking bathtub, and Charlie arrived very quickly, arriving half an hour earlier than he was scheduled. Service was professional and he was very knowledgeable. No complaints, and was very satisfied.

Charlie was the first to respond to my request for the replacement of 2 toilets in the ladies washroom at our organization. We supplied the new toilets and Charlie installed them quickly and cleanly.
The job was completed in less than two hours with no complications or surprises. Everything works perfectly.
It was a pleasure to deal with someone who is honest and extremely competent. We will definitely contact Mr Rescue again for any Handyman assignments in the future.

I called Charlie to fix my kitchen exhaust fan duct that came-off. He arrived promptly and attached the exhaust fan duct right-away. Although, he was busy and I didn't mention it beforehand when I requested him to install some brackets for shelves in my garage he agreed to it and did a solid job. He also provided useful tips. Overall, I am happy with his solid and quick service.

We found Charlie on Homestars and are glad we did so. He worked quickly and efficiently and brought materials we needed, providing receipts. He also pointed out several problems we hadn't even noticed, such as rotting wood on our porch stairs.

He was most pleasant to be around and his rates are fair. Highly recommended.

Charlie wasn't the first guy I called for the job but after the other handyman bailed (three times) I gave him a call. Next day he came as scheduled and the job was done. That's what i need, someone who is true to his word and knows what he is doing. I'd gladly recommend Charlie.
