Made to appointment early: once established locations of gas main started to work ensuring area was kept clean with a drop cloth. Checked all valves and gauges - bled air quickly from hose (used larger tube instead of pilot light which can take up to an hour)- a couple of minutes and proceeded to check all valves and flames. Cleaned fireplace thoroughly and area around it - put on specialized fibres to give a more realistic flame - patiently answered any and all questions asked. All in all a pleasant contractor who knows his business.
