Cosmopolitan replaced a circuit board. First they charged $129 to give a quotation. Then they charged $275 for the already used part, available on the internet for under $100, and charged $198 for labor, which took literally under 10 minutes. No arguing with this company, because they take your credit card imprint in advance. Outrageous, but the furnace works.
However, they left a gap between furnace and ductwork of 1 inch all around so the hot air was just blowing into the furnace room. They took photos and said they had to make some ductwork. They never returned, never called back, never returned our calls. I filled the gap myself with furnace duct tape. I can't understand how a company with the slightest pride in their work or the slightest notion of customer service could leave a job like this. This part of Cosmopolitan's service was terrible. Apparently their approach is to grab your money and run.
I chose this company because of positive online reviews, but warn anyone else against make the same mistake.
