I met Steve in 2006 when he hired my company for sub-contracting some exterior finishing work on a house that he was building. We have been working together on and off since and he’s knowledge about carpentry is beyond expectations. Building houses in Vancouver require logistic and special skills management. He will be the first one on site with all the material and his tool ready to start and work nonstop all way through the end of the day. You may see him at lunch time with a sandwich in one hand and a hammer in the other working without resting. Steve just finished a commercial renovation project for me that required working sometime on weekend and he is the only one I would trust to complete the contract by himself. Steve is your guy!

Steve helped us with a bathroom renovation in our home. Well, really he did it but let us feel like we were contributing. He was open to us doing some of the work and using some tradespeople that we knew, but was always there and ready with his own tradespeople when they were needed. He did a great job coordinating everyone. He's dependable, does a fantastic job and left the bathroom clean and usable during the renovation - it's our only bathroom! We added a skylight to our bathroom and incorporated closet space from an adjacent bedroom into the bathroom and both rooms look fantastic now. Highly recommend Good Guy Construction.
