From the first time we met Barb at the Maclean’s Custom Kitchen store we knew we were in the right place.

We were looking for an all-inclusive contractor that would take care of every aspect of our kitchen renovation including demolition, removal, new flooring, cabinets, countertop, sink, backsplash, electrical and drywall work.

This is exactly the way Maclean’s approached our project and the renovation was completed on schedule and within budget.

Overall, we are extremely satisfied with the quality and finish of our new kitchen and have had many compliments from friends and relatives.

MacLeans renovated our kitchen 2.5 years ago and it looks as good today as the day they finished the work. The whole team are true professionals and they did an amazing job of both the design and installation, completing the whole project on time and on budget.

Our project involved removing a wall, moving the cold air returns, new plumbing, flooring, lighting and cabinetry. The team's attention to detail is exceptional.

When we decided to renovate our kitchen we knew it would be a huge project because we wanted a wall torn out along with the entire existing kitchen. We did our homework and checked into other kitchen renovators and decided to visit MacLean's Custom Kitchens on the advice of neighbors and co-workers whom had dealt with this company. A well run family business, Barb, Terry & Dave showed us nothing but true professionalism from the start of the project to the finish. Terry & Dave's work was impeccable & you can see they definetly pay attention to detail and take great
pride in it. When it was time for the floor to be tiled, the subcontractor became very ill, but Dave stepped in & tiled the floor & back splash so the project would not fall behind. From start to finish all 3 (and son Trevor) were helpful with hints on colour, style and how to create a beautiful flow between cabinetry, counter and floor. We highly recommend MacLean's no matter the extent of your renovation.

I have been dealing with the trade industries for over 45 years and never have I come across a company like MacLean’s Custom Kitchen Design, in professionalism fair pricing, work ethic, making time commitments and the list goes on.
I had to have my kitchen totally gutted, I researched and interviewed four companies, not only was MacLean’s Custom Kitchen the less expensive, best reviews on Homestar, but also the shortest time line and hands on the project every day. I like that. From Barb’s excellent, patient ways and suggestions for the perfect WOW kitchen, with me in the office to Dave, Terry and Trevor being on site to oversee everything and also work long hours to ensure my happiness. When the project hit an unexpected bump, Dave and Terry were right on it to correct the structural issue, bring in the best Engineers and best pricing to correct original flaw in home. I totally believe most contractors would have seen the structure flaw and just keep on with their job, not notify us of the protection problem with our home.
Everyone who has come into my kitchen now that it is completed, come in and their mouths drop open. Three trade individuals have stated that they have been in hundreds of newly renovated kitchens and NONE of them even come close to the glamour and functionally of my wonderful new WOW kitchen.

My husband and I called MacLean's Custom Kitchens for a kitchen renovation quote on the recommendation of a friend. We are so glad we took their advice! Barb, Terry, Dave and Trevor were wonderful to work with in planning and installing our new kitchen. Terry visited our home as scheduled, listened to what we envisioned for our new kitchen, discussed our options, and took appropriate measurements required for his drawings. We were provided a well-priced quote in a timely manner. We visited the shop in Bowmanville where we saw samples and examples of designs. Barb and Terry helped us finalize our plans, cabinets, countertop, backsplash and hardware. They really know their business!

I was so impressed when Barb proactively resolved what could have been a huge issue with our backsplash tile. Barb noticed that there was a manufacturer's error in the colour scheme so we chose another similar tile from a different vendor before it even made it to our kitchen.

Speaking of being impressed, we were totally impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail of Terry, Dave, Trevor and the demolition team who all took great care when working in our home. Our old, outdated kitchen cabinets were carefully removed and we donated to the Habitat ReStore. Our newly refinished hardwood floors were carefully covered as to not be marked during the installation. Our new kitchen cabinets were meticulously installed to Terry and Dave's high standards. Our new kitchen looks totally amazing! It is much more functional and stylish due to the expertise of MacLean's Custom Kitchens. Thank you Terry & Barb, Dave and Trevor!

Barb, Terry, Dave, Trevor and Co recently renovated our kitchen and replaced the main level flooring. We couldn't be happier with the overall results. The transformation is night and day. Our kitchen was transformed from painfully dysfunctional into a large open concept kitchen that restored balance to the overall space. Main level hardwood replaced previous flooring that gives it a natural look and flow. Looks fantastic (thanks Eric). They were on time, on budget, and ready to promptly resolve any issues along the way. MacLean's delivered on all fronts and goes the extra mile to make sure you are completely satisfied with the quality and results. My wife and I would highly recommend them to anyone who's interested.
