18 months after Sears delivery installed my new Kenmore fridge, I called Sears repair because of water leaking on floor. The repairman said that problem arose because the fridge was pushed against the wall, thus impeding proper air circulation. But, this is where Sears delivery put it AND there is no reference in manual for need to leave 3 inch space between back of fridge and wall. Repair cost $200. In my several talks with Sears Customer Service, they did not dispute that it was their fault the problem had occurred, but they said that because the one year warranty was expired, they had no responsibility for the repair cost. A couple of reps ended their conversation by saying that I should have bought the extended warranty. This is really bad customer service.
