Shortly after moving into my house we had a flyer from Joel Daniels. Just from the flyer I could see they were a professional group. I saw their trucks at a couple of jobs in the neighbourhood and always paid attention as I drove by. When I was finally ready to put eavestrough on my house they were my first call. They sent someone out to talk to me and finalize the details. They did a great job. Later when I built a shed and sunroom I went with them again. I've been very happy with their work, the way they work, and the quality of the staff. I never felt worried for their safety like I have when I've seen other companies working at heights. Despite all this great eavestrough work, the reason for writing this review is because Joel Daniels helped me when I was really in a bind. One cold winter night there was a terrible wind storm and I lost shingles at three places on my roof. The days are so short in the Winter and I thought it would be really tough to get some help. I went up to Joel Daniels location around 7AM and asked if they could help. They had other jobs that day but they made sure to look after me. In the cold and awful weather they came quickly and were up on the roof fixing the damage. Everything was done before noon. It was their willingness to help when I really needed it that impressed me. I would recommend them and am happy to have found a great company that I will be calling whenever I need the type of services that they provide.

Joel Daniels replaced our roof for us the past December. Having your roof replaced in the winter is not without its challenges but they did everything possible to accommodate the snow removal and Christmas company. They will be back in the spring to finish any cleanup that is buried in the snow and I have every confidence that this will be done without any issues. All of the people associated with Joel Daniels were pleasant, polite and respectful. We are pleased that this is the company that we chose to deal with and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Joel Daniel's is an excellent company. I am very happy that I chose to hire them to proceed with the exterior renovations on my home. They were very professional, punctual, patient and experienced. I can honestly say that i have never felt more satisfied with a renovation company from the get go with the admin to the sales rep to the installers. I am extremely pleased with how well they cleaned up as well. My roof looks amazing, I love the architectural look of the shingles compared to what I had before. I am also happy that the sales rep suggested that I upgrade my 5" eavestrough to 6", now i do not have any water coming over like I used too. In my opinion, this company is the BEST roofing/eavestrough company in the ottawa area. I will definitely be calling them for my next house! Thank you so much!!!

I own a single home and had a few upgrades to do this past summer. After meeting Dan and his team at the Ottawa Home Show, I kept his card cause I knew I wanted a quote from Joel Daniels for my home project. i also called a couple of other companies but decided to give the entire contract to Joel Daniels. Overall I was very impressed with the quality of materials for the roof GAF with a lifetime warranty, that I can transfer to the next owner if I sell my home. My 6" Evestroughs look amazing. Dan and his crew were very prompt, professional. I received a descent price and great attention to detail and quality. I would recommend them to all my friends , familly, or to anyone looking for a certified qualified contractor... As a single woman I always felt comfortable with the work crew and they gave a progress report daily

We had numerous shingles blown off our bungalow roof during the big wind storm a couple weeks ago. I literally called at least 12 to 15 different roofers in Ottawa, all said too busy and to call back in spring. Was only able to get 3 of them to come out and give estimate. Only Joel Daniel's offered to either cover up roof with tarp or patch in the meantime. They were the only ones who said the job could get done before Christmas. Well, not only was it done before Christmas, but they began work only 3 days after the storm. The work was completed in 3 days. Job/roof looks really good. They use architectural shingles, which are much more durable than normal 3 ply. Would recommend JD to anyone.

Overall the company did a good job in a reasonable amount of time. They were on time and worked very hard. They also took the time to listen and answers any questions. I would recommend this company.

Dan and his crew were great to work with! Kept us up to date on progress, kept the yard clear of nails and debris, and worked long days to get it done before the weather turned.

We recently hired the Joel Daniels crew to re-shingle and divert our eavestrough. They finished the job quickly and made sure they didn't leave any garbage. We recently hired Joel Daniel's to replace the roof of our townhouse (they had just finished a neighbour's roof). After getting more than 5 quotes from other companies, I just had to get one last one. So glad I did as they were quick to provide a very competitive price.

Dan has his own crew (no sub-contracting) and looks after his clients. The crew was always pleasant and conscientious of my young children while they worked.
