I started to research what was necessary to replace our 17 year old furnace and ac during the summer of 2017 but decided to wait until early 2018 to make the purchase.
I got quotes from four reputable HVAC companies. Three I had dealt with previously. I also chose not to include another well known company as they had just changed ownership and I was not sure about their future. All quotes came with some type of a guarantee of a quality installation. Given, I have a technical background, had done sales in the past and have taught both University and College, I just didn't feel 100% satisfied with either the sales experience or having a guaranteed of a high quality installation.
I started my search again on Homestars and came across Furnace King. I kept reading and reading lengthy reviews from customers that kept referring to Sandip, so I reached out to them and they immediately responded to setup an appointment.
Sandip was here exactly at the time we agreed to. He was polite and proceeded to first understand what we wanted and then presented the various options and the benefits of each one. He also gave me a Certificate that said Furnace King guarantees satisfaction. I was a bit weary about this as many companies say the same thing.
I went back to the other HVAC companies to get comparable quotes on the brand Furnace and AC I was considering. I decided that I felt that Sandip was the most credible and asked him to meet with me again. Sandip has an Engineering background so he understand the mechanics. He is also well spoken and was focused on getting us the products that we wanted at a fair price, so I signed the deal.
Within two days they installed the Furnace and had to return another day to install the AC as it was too cold that first day. They returned and installed the AC and here is where it gets interesting.
When they installed the AC the days had begun to warm up but the AC just didn't appear to be cooling properly. I texted Sandip and within a couple hours he arranged for a technician to check the unit. They found a minor issue and adjusted it but the unit still was not cooling. So I texted Sandip again. Shockingly he responded almost immediately!
Sandip then arranged for a senior technician to come within a day to check the system. After conducting a complete assessment - truly very impressive, he determined that unit could possibly be defective. Once again I reached out to Sandip just before a long weekend and he said he would contact me on Tuesday.
Tuesday rolled around and he followed up by email explaining that he had discussed the matter with the senior folks at Furnace King and they agreed to switch the AC and also reposition it.
In the end, they replaced and repositioned the unit and ultimately, not only is the AC cooling like it should, we are very very satisfied with how the stituation has handled professionally! At no time did I feel like I was being ignored. Sandip is a perfectionist and wants his customers to have an ultimate sales and customer service experience. He and Furnace King proved that, as every time I reached out to him with either a question or concern he answered within hours if not within minutes.
I absolutely recommend Sandip and Furnace King 150% and even if you already have quotes from others, reach out to him even if it is just to get another opinion, I think you will be amazed!
