Our furnace decided to quit so my wife and I did some research on repair versus replacement. We opted for replacement since both units were almost 20 yrs old and we wanted our units to be more efficient. Home Depot had a great promotion for 10 yrs parts AND 10 yrs labour warranty. Best offer out there overall at the time. We then found out that they use Furnace King for their HVAC installs in our area. After reading many reviews, I was comfortable with booking an in-house consultation. I submitted a request online around 8pm and got a phone call within 20 minutes and the consultation was booked for 9am the very next morning. They sent Sandip who is very kind and very knowledgeable. He went over our options, answered all our questions and then performed his assessment of our existing units. He then provided his recommendations. Having just moved into our home a couple of months ago, he understood our budget and worked with us on a plan that fit our budget. He left and gave us time to decide what to do. Even after his in-home consultation, he was always checking in with texts and phone calls to see if he could help answer anymore questions. We decided to move forward with the plan that best suited us and we were able to get a new 2 Stage Trane Furnace and new Trane AC.
The installation occured 2 days after we agreed to move forward. Furnace King sent Brian and Michael who were awesome! Brian is super knowledgeable and both he and Michael worked hard in our tight furnace room without any complaints. Brian made sure to explain everything in detail and also was courteous enough to let us know when they would be a bit noisy since we have 2 babies in the house. They even stayed a little longer to thoroughly test the furnace to ensure their were no issues with the install. When they were done, they cleaned up very well and it was like they weren't even there aside from the awesome new units installed.
All in all our experience was great and the Home Depot / Furnace King really lived up to their high expectations and more. Thank you again Sandip, Brian and Michael for turning a stressful situation into a very positive experience.
