We used Aquahield for a foundation leak this past spring on a house that is more than 80 years old. The damage was caused by the rain storm from August 2018 and had water leak into the basement.

We dealt with the owner of the company throughout the entire process who was very professional and honest and trustworthy. We were explained of the possibilities of the worst case as the house is very old and were given a quote and even prepped the area for us to get through the winter season. The work was started in May and were given a 2 week timline from the start to the end of the project.

After the initial dig, the problem was much worse than anticipated but with a few options we found a way to fit the extra work with in the budget and was the project was finished on time.

Chicco and his workers did a wonderful job doing internal waterproofing and installing a sub pump in our basement. Chicco and his crew were so courteous and made sure to keep our house clean and cover up our carpets so they didn’t get dirty. The job was done quickly and perfectly. You simply cannot get a better qualified and professional person (Chico) to assess your water problem with your basement. He and his staff are truly professional and friendly and do an outstanding job waterproofing your house.

Water was leaking into the bottom of our basement wall during the winter/spring thaw as well as heavy rainfalls for a few years. As well, our concrete floor was showing signs of moisture damage and cracking. I called Chico to come assess the situation, and he was quickly able to diagnose that the damage in my concrete was being caused by hydrostatic pressure. Chico suggested an internal weeping system and sump/pump solution, taking the time to explain in detail not only the process of doing so, but also why it would help resolve our issues. Chico provided us an estimate for cost and time, which was not exceeded once the work was completed.

I was amazed at how quickly and efficiently Chico’s crew worked. They were extremely neat and cleaned up the workspace everyday before leaving. Chico and his crew were open to dialogue throughout the process and gave frequent updates on how the work was going.

The winter/spring thaw has begun again this past week, and I am happy to say that our basement is dry, with the sump/pump steadily collecting water and removing it from our home.
