I would highly recommend Chico and his crew. Chico was suggested by my realtor to provide me with new, wider front stairs with a more comfortable rise along with a small landing. After they started it became apparent that I would be having lovely stairs but my side walls would be old and holey. I asked if we could therefore not only parge the whole house but also refinish the top of my front porch to match the stairs. Then we had it all painted dark custom grey. My stairs are now over a foot wider with an additional step which improved the rise or height of the stairs. Through all this Chico was very patient and accomodating. His crew did a great job, cleaned up the property and Chico was very
responsive to my queries and requests.

Chico was recommended by my realtor when we realized our new home had never been waterproofed. He was out to see the site quickly, had his men on site working full speed at the agreed date, and completed all the work for exactly what he'd quoted me. They even came back to change one of the window wells to make our gate more accessible.

I will absolutely recommend him to anyone who needs work done.

I heard about Chico through a friend. He came out and gave us a quote for the work we wanted. He and his team worked professionally and tirelessly through the winter/spring to complete the job. He was communicative. His team was amazing. Despite a number of unforeseen issues (both with the project and covid related) the project was completed within budget. Chico ensured that he was always available to answer questions.

I found out I needed foundation work and was trying to figure out where to turn. Chico and his team were working across the street on another project. I had noticed a cement truck coming to the other property several days in a row so I went over and spoke to Chico. He came and looked at my property right away and told me what the cost would be and when he was going to be able to do it. Within a couple days his team was their starting to work, it was completed on time and on budget. I was very satisfied with all aspects of the job he was very quick to respond to all questions and inquiries. I would highly recommend him and his team from Aquashield.

Called Chico based on his excellent reviews here on Homestars ...he and his team (Ardie) didn't disappoint! Chico was prompt, professional and consultative to what our basement issue might be. He was clear on what might have happened to cause the leak, how we can fix it, costs associated, timelines and next steps. I totally recommend him to anyone who's looking for a professional, efficient and excellent job done---even in the middle of winter!

I hired Chico and his crew for two jobs. The first was waterproofing a basement wall from the outside. The job was in a tight space underneath a back porch. His crew did a great job in very tight quarters. The second job was in November 2019 when I had Chico come back to lay a concrete pad around the side of my house and parge the side wall. It looks fantastic. The clean up afterwards was perfect. Chico responds to texts and phone calls immediately and regularly comes out to the job site to make sure everything is going well. He is easy to deal with, fair, reliable and accountable. I would definitely recommend him.

Chico and his crew did a great job. We had internal waterproofing done as well as the exterior walls reparged. As the scope of the job increased once we decided to dig down for more height and redo the slab, he was able to provide us with options, recommend solutions and implement at a very fair price. He is trustworthy, fair and always quick to respond to any questions.

Chico was fabulous! I would highly recommend him. His crew did a great job. It took longer than they had expected and we had some bad weather, however, they got the job done and we are very happy with it.

We have had Chico do two projects for us and are very pleased with the work he and his crew did. Chico is so professional in his approach to work. It is obvious that he is very experienced and is able to determine exactly what should be done. He responds to phone calls and texts immediately, is punctual and entirely trustworthy. We used Aquashield Waterproofing based on a neighbour’s recommendation. Excellent decision. The owner Chico was great with communicating and keeping us updated on the progress from start to finish. He waited for approval from Ontario One Call for underground infrastructure locating prior to starting. They were pretty much on the job every day with the exception for bad weather when we had some heavy rainfall in late October and a surprise snow storm in mid-November. His crew was amazing. They were professional, courteous and did a great job with the waterproofing and clean-up. Chico provided all the necessary documents (proof of insurance, business license, WSIB) prior to starting the job. We would definitely recommend Aquashield for waterproofing and foundation work.
