Josh did a great job on my ductless AC installation. He spent a lot of time sourcing the right unit for my needs and continually followed up when he said he would. I plan to work with him again in the future.

Our A/C unit stopped working in the middle of the day and it was 29 degrees outside. My brother recommended to call Contrast Heating & Air. Josh answered my call right away. I explained the problem to him over the phone and early the next morning he was at my house able to rewire the cables in the mother board and install a super charger booster. Josh you did an amazing job, very professional and quicker than I expected. Thank you for all the great advise on how to maintain our unit. In an nutshell, Josh called promptly after leaving him a message. He was able to diagnose the problem with my furnace over the phone, and showed up at the time I asked to install the new parts. It was and easy job, but no less important than the big job he rushed away from to fix my problem. Josh is a top notch guy compared to the many trades people I have seen over the years. Our furnace stopped working one day near the end of January. We needed it fixed - and fast! Contrast came to our house that night and started working. I appreciated their efforts to resolve the situation by looking at the motor and other parts first before going ahead with a major repair right away. They were honest and lived up to the other positive ratings I saw here on Homestars. Thanks for getting our heat back w/ a new furnace in a short amount of time. Also letting us borrow a space heater for the night was an extra plus.

I hired Contrast Heating & Air Conditioning Ltd. to carry out my basement heating/ cooling updates. This was a big job as all of the duct work/ vents needed to be moved (we own a very old house) as well as replacement of our old water tank furnace, oil tank, etc. The job was extensive and done perfectly, they definitely didn't cut any corners and everything runs perfectly. We ended up hiring them to do duct work, vents, thermostats, furnace and tankless water heater. The job was done on budget & time!

I had an old thermostat, Josh replaced my thermostat with a new digital system. Not only was Josh friendly and quick, he stayed and helped program the thermostat so that we saved by keeping the heating and air down during peak times and were making the most out of our money. Josh also noted some issues with my air conditioning unit and showed me some simple ways to help with the longevity of my unit. Highly recommended!

After moving into my house we had a big heat wave and I soon found out that my air conditioning didn't work. I contacted a number of suppliers and the costs for them to just come and see what was wrong were insanely high. Being a new homeowner I was really worried about how much it would all cost and how long it would take. I called Josh and he the next day he came over happy to take a look and giving me a free estimate (unlike anyone else). He stayed that evening until everything was fixed and gave me advice on a number of things aside from the AC that really helped me with my home maintenance. Not only did he fix my AC that night for a better price than anyone else he followed up with me the next day to make sure everything was still going well. And he has been there for me ever since. Whenever I am concerned about anything related to HVAC, I give him a call and he responds right away.

overall was very satisfied with work, very professional in workmanship and advice. No shortcuts were taken and work was delivered as promised. Would definetly recommend contrast to any of my friends.
