Just a follow-up to the duct-cleaning service we received today from your employees. In a word, it was unsatisfactory. This is why:
1) They were an hour late -- arrived at 2:30
2) They were rude and pushy, trying to upsell a $200.00 furnace cleaning as well, indicating that they couldn't guarantee the duct cleaning unless the furnace had been cleaned too.
3) They were sloppy -- they cut extra holes into the ductwork, even though the previous duct cleaning company had already cut holes in the ductwork. They also didn't clean up the metal shavings or any debris left around from this procedure. As I type this (at 5:00 p.m., my partner is still downstairs vacuuming after them).
4) The disinfectant REEKS. My partner was told the odor would subside within an hour. It has a very strong, caustic odor. Indeed, my eyes are watering and I have a headache from it, so can't be in my house this evening.
I'm sorry I took my neighbour's advice. We will be returning to the company we had before. This was $348.00 misspent.
