Craig Francis was recommended to me by a friend when I was looking for someone to make slipcovers for some tired furniture. I cannot say enough good about my dealings with him--he is completely reliable, fairly priced, and best of all the quality of his work is extremely high. Since that first project--a cotton-canvas loveseat slipcover--he has made a velvet slipcover, a coverlet for my bed incorporating old family textiles, many cushions, and even some linen tops based on an old favourite that was wearing out. I will use him again for sure. I particularly like that he comes to me--no having to move my furniture out while the slipcovers are being made! Craig is personable and professional and highly recommended. I will say that I was surprised to find that his prices, though not what I would call cheap, were considerably more competitive than others offering similar services. Use him; you won't be disappointed.

I would like to recommend Craig to anyone who is considering getting a sofa or chair recovered with slip covers. As a very busy person,I did not have time to go shopping for colours & fabrics. I called Craig, told him that I have a very old sofa & 2 chairs that are well constructed, I did not wish to replace, but that I wanted slip covers for, told him what colours I wanted, what patterns I did not want. He went out, got samples, met me at the office, and within a short time, I knew that I was going to have a beautiful slip cover for my sofa and 2 chairs. I scheduled a pickup time for him to arrive at my home to collect the sofa and chairs, he arrived right on time, even though my home is way out of the way. With in one week I had the pieces back at home, beautifully done, excellent workmanship. I would say that these are better than store bought manufactured ones, the lines of the slip covers are beautifully fitted to the sofa and chairs. So in short, if you want slip covers, go to Craig.
