Some issues but put right.

Heating & Air Conditioning review in Whitchurch-Stouffville

Our AC Unit was installed in spring 2015. One year later we have had ongoing issues with the unit for about 3 weeks.

Despite some frustrations in getting the unit repaired, with multiple visits from Comfortmasters' techs, they stayed committed to fixing the unit and have eventually got Lennox to commit to replacing the entire unit.

I wish this could have been sorted out sooner but credit where it is due - the Comfortmasters team stayed true to their word.

Oh dear, so good to so, so bad!

Heating & Air Conditioning review in Whitchurch-Stouffville

We had our AC unit replaced by Comfortmasters back in early spring 2015. We replaced a 20 year old unit as we didn't want to go into summer and have a possible breakdown during the hottest time of the year.

Comfort masters were great to deal with, we were given some advice and selected the unit we wanted. Installation was fine - timely and as promised. No issue there.

However, role forward to present day (June/July 2016) and we are without properly functioning AC after 3 weeks of getting the run around from Comfort Masters.

Problems started when we noticed a loud grinding sound coming from the unit, coupled with only ambient air, not cooled air being pumped out. Eventually the house got warmer and warmer with no way of cooling until the unit is left off for 2-3 hours.

The (only!) service tech, who seems eager, helpful but obviously totally overworked (worrying sign, anyone?!) has been over here 4 times, the latest visit supposedly with a solution to our problem.

However, after returning home tonight, we find our house at 28 degrees despite the AC being on and the grinding sound still coming from the unit.

So I'm wondering what is going to happen next. How long and how many service visits will it take before Comfort Masters take ownership of this problem, uphold the warranty we have on the AC unit and REPLACE A FAULTY UNIT?!!!!

I hate writing negative reviews but if this is the only way I can get these people to act on THEIR PROMISE, then I gotta do what I gotta do.

Choose carefully before you go with these guys.
