I had created a design inspiration board with the look and feel I wanted and Badr was able to assist me in picking the right floors, cabinets and colorings to bring it all together. As a first time home buyer I was so nervous and inexperienced on what materials will work best. Having a professional like Badr by my side to ask all my questions was great because she was unbiased (working for me versus the builder). Now that I am all moved in I can't wait for our next consultation to put together all the little details fo the space to make my condo home and perfect for entertaining guests (I throw alot of parties!).

I wanted to give my Parents a Surprise Living Room Makeover while they were on Vacation. We set up the initial meeting, and from there we went right to work. Badr was very prepared in terms of all the shops to visit to get all that we needed for the project and my budget.... From furniture, the area rug and all the lighting and accessories. Oh, and the wall colour was beautiful. Needless to say, when the room was completed, it looked spectacular. My parents loved it! Now it's the one room they love to spend the most time in. It was an easy decision to choose Badr from Blu Dot Interiors to work with us on our main level make-over, after she came highly recommended by a co-worker. We were in desperate need to change our 1970's Bungalow that we just moved into. Badr was amazing at helping us select all the finishes for our kitchen & bathroom Reno, and giving us brilliant ideas we never would of thought of. She also had beautiful drapes made for our Living, Dining & Family Room. Fabulous fabrics and colour selection!

Not only is Badr a fantastic person, but she is amazing at what she does. She helped give us a “decorating direction” when we moved into our new home. She was very patient as we felt overwhelmed at all the choices we needed to be made. She provided us with options based on her extensive knowledge of exactly where to go to find anything (reasonably priced options no less), as well as helped us incorporate our own hidden gems into our new home.

She was also wonderful at ensuring both my husband and I equally contributed to the design choices. For example, if I knew that Badr thought “his” wall hanging looked good – it was an objective opinion that I respected, and listened to.

In ALL circumstances Badr made us feel comfortable and happy with our choices – it was like having our very own cheering section – which helped get us to the amazing result we were looking for.

Badr is a wonderful human being with amazing insight. When my wife and I were designing our unfinished basement, we hired her for her opinion and suggestions. What we liked about her was that she was not only honest in confirming some of our design concepts, but she also suggested excellent ideas that never crossed our minds. We also hired her for helping us choose the colors that works for our basement and she did an amazing job with that too. We called her a third time to help my wife choose floor and wall tiles for the bathroom and that paid off by easing my wife's uncertainty.

What we really like about Badr is that she has an inner sense for interior design and colors. She doesn't just tell you with what works but instead she works with what you tell her. And above all that, Badr shares her talents with a smile.

Badr rocks! This is the 3rd time we have used Badr and she is fantastic. She always chooses great colours and materials, but having her also introduce us to reliable suppliers and tradespeople is invaluable. It eliminates all the shopping around I don't have time for. So a reno that would have taken us months is done way faster, looks awesome and is well done. I can't explain how much nicer our house is post-Badr intervention!

I met Badr from Blu Dot Interiors at the Ottawa Public Library's "Evening with a Designer" last year. I immediately liked her down-to-earth approach, friendliness and warmth. My husband and I called on her services and expertise and we have NOT been disappointed.
