SIS Exterior Renovations (S.I.S.)

The mighty winds were playing havoc with the siding on one of our walls. S.I.S. repaired the siding and it no longer waves at us. Excellent workers and good work done.

Right from the beginning with Kevin assisting us with advice on selections to the numerous change orders we felt very comfortable and confident with SIS. The crews working on the project were all all very professional and able to answer any questions that we had. Originally we had opted to do vinyl but ultimately decided it would be best to spend the extra on the James Hardie siding. Eric and his install crew paid attention to every detail and went above and beyond to make it a spectacular looking home. The windows and door quality far surpassed our expectations. Francis was a pleasure to deal with and addressed any and all concerns we had during and after job completion. He did not hesitate on getting back to us in a timely fashion on any questions we had. The team doing the door install had to increase the opening size from 32" to 36" which proved to be more difficult than anticipated but they pulled it off with a hitch. The window is spectacular; the ease in operating and maintenance is more than we expected. Although the house came with many unexpected surprises the SIS crews were able to overcome any obstacles thrown at them and the outcome is nothing short of fantastic. Overall we highly recommend SIS and its team of professionals.

I would like to thank SIS Exterior Renovations for their excellent service and quality of work they did on our house last Friday, Nov.27. It's highly recommended. exact color of materials was not available but they were able to find a way and finished the work with a good outcome.

Upon replacing my insulation I discovered that under my metal soffits there were pre-existing solid wood soffits which resulted in no attic ventilation. It was right after the hail storm in northeast Calgary and it was difficult to find a company interested in assisting with a retrofit. SIS got back to me quickly, promised they could do the job before winter, and did it efficiently. I was away the day it was done and they took copious pictures so I could see their work. After having significant problems with the company that removed my old insulation and the company that installed the new insulation, it was a relief to work with SIS.

We replaced our siding with James Hardie cement fiberboard as well as the soffit, facia, gutters and downspouts. SIS was the general contractor and we could not be happier with the end result. The installers were very professional and a pleasure to work with. The attention to detail and was incredible and very much appreciated. They consulted with us through out the various stages of the project and kept us informed and involved.
We have owned numerous homes and have done many renovation / construction projects over the years. This one was by far the best we have experienced.

The entire process was efficiently and professionally executed. The exterior and interior appearance of the house has been dramatically improved with the quality of the products and the workmanship performed. The crew cleaned up thoroughly after every day of the project, which was greatly appreciated. I am a tradesman myself and have undergone numerous home renovations. My own high expectations of quality service and craftsmanship were certainly achieved by the SIS team.

When we first thought about replacing our doors, we began phoning around and submitting on-line requests and S.I.S was the only company to even acknowledge us! I know it's just a small job but it can certainly lead to a larger job. All staff were professional and easy to deal with and I highly recommend them.

SIS did a great job redoing the siding on our house and replacing the windows. The difference between the installation job of the siding that was originally on the house and the new job is incomparable. The trim around the doors and windows, vents, lights, and fans was really well done. The office staff and installers were kind, pleasant and easy to talk to. We've used SIS to install all of our windows and doors over the last 5 years and they've always done a great job and stand behind what they do - very professional from the salesman right down to the installers.

SIS staff were easy to deal with, knowledgeable, and professional throughout our renovation job. Our already high expectations were exceeded in terms of quality of the products used, installation skills of the crew, and warranty offered. SIS was very flexible in terms of accommodating some of our less common requests, such as additional architectural details, even though these probably made their job more difficult. The fact that SIS has a showroom where we could view samples of installed product was also very helpful to us in making the necessary material and product selections. Additionally, SIS staff made some design suggestions that resulted in our renovation job being a huge success. We would definitely recommend SIS to others and use them again for our next project!

SIS crew arrived end of September and the new siding , stone work and rebuilding of the support posts was completed first week of December. The SIS crew that replaced the siding were very professional efficient and friendly. Antoni the team lead was amazing, because he ensured that all the work that was contracted for was completed properly. After the siding and stone work was completed a thorough review of the installation of the siding, stone work, and door cladding was completed by Francis (Project Mgr.) of SIS and SIS (Antoni) corrected all areas that required an adjustment, and SIS addressed them all to our satisfaction. SIS is a company that is truly focused on providing customer satisfaction.
