After calling Joe, he suggested coming the following week instead since he thought the birds were too young to fly by themselves out of the vent. Come the following week he did show up on time and had the mesh done within 1hr - 1 1/2hr with no birds in the vent. Not only did he dealt with the vent but also helped me to reinstall the drain spout that fell during the winter.

Thanks for your review. That bird nest was tricky and I'm happy the whole family got out in one piece. We also fixed a nuisance down spout which was bothering me too for some reason. Joe
