Exterior painting a house and garage
I would not use this organization again. They were asked to quote on painting a house and garage. I got quotes from another company and theirs was about the same as the other one. The option was 2 thin coats sprayed vs 1 heavier coat rolled. Since I was worried about over spray, I opted for Scholars at your Service. When it came time to painting the garage, they told me they had only included the house in the quote and not the garage. They wanted an extra $1500 (30% increase in budget) to paint the garage!!!
When reviewing the quote, the way they present it, it is impossible for the home owner to clearly see what is being quoted. As a result when I challenged them on items, they had a standard response that it was not included in the quote. So I'm left feeling mislead. I suspect it was an innocent mistake on their part, but they did not provide an acceptable corrective solution to their mistake. As a result I'm now having to paint the garage...
The crew were nice guys but there is a fundamental issue with either the training or business model when the guys (kids) do not have the support /guidance of the parent organization to provide a reasonable corrective solution to their error.
