TLD did an excellent job on my backyard. My contact was very punctual and was very knowledgeable about his trade which was very helpful since my wife and I know very little about "hardscaping". He was able to provide us with a very detailed breakdown of the expenses which is why we chose to work with his company. The job was completed ahead of the projected schedule giving us more time to enjoy our new backyard. The interlocking, planter boxes and fence that they put in all look fantastic.

The job TLD did in our backyard looked great. They laid mulch, patio stones and bed curbs and a number of plants and evergreens. All looked great and I cared for and watered the plants as I do with all the healthy plants and trees in the front of my house. However, most of TLD's plants died or were nearly dead at the end of their first winter. he plants were meant to be guaranteed. When I notified Gabor he said he couldn't replace them 'due to inadequate watering' and 'limited upkeep'. That is in no way true. I invested a lot in these plants and cared for them as carefully as I did the healthy plants at the front of the house (which did not come from TLD). I'm out a lot of money and do not recommend this contractor.

Although I was initially impressed with this company I experienced something quite horrible. The crew left a bag of garbage in my driveway with highly flammable rags inside the bag on a very hot day. Late at night the contents in the bag self combusted and caught fire. The police and fire department came (I have a police report) and put out the fire. I was very lucky that my house didn't burn down. Initially Gabe agreed to fix the damages, but now he is refusing. It was pure negligence that highly flammable rags were left inside a garbage bag. I talked with Gabe and he was unaware that there is a protocol to dispose of rags that have come in contact with chemicals. A very disappointing experience.

Our family is very happy with the job done by Toronto Landscape Design. Mike is a very polite and knowledgeable contractor. His crew started the job on time and produced the work as was written on the contract. In the end the job looked immaculate and the service was exceptional. Thank you TLD!
