We had disintegrating stone on and around our front porch. Likely damage from salt, freeze/thaw and originally, poor installation.
Nigel repaired our porch; his work is beyond exceptional.

Crumbling pillar was restored with better material more resilient to snow, water and salt (previously used stone was too soft for this type of construction).

Our front porch cement was absorbing water which was leaching down into the brick below, and causing issues with stairwell as well. The stairs were crumbling from water damage as well. They cut out the cement stairs, stripped down the cement on the front porch as well, poured new forms for stairs, resurfaced the porch with a 2 coat system, fixed up all the brick surrounding the porch and stairs that was damaged, and fixed the underside of the porch as well, where the water was soaking through the concrete slab. Cutting out the stairs and the rebar was no easy task, and they handled it very well. I had a few small issues, and the GM came back himself the following day to look at, patch up, and fix; service was second to none.

They furnished us an estimate quickly, and once we decided to go ahead the work was done quickly (one day to demolish the old chimney, a couple to build the new one). The chimney looks great and the people doing the work took care to clean the site at the end of each day. They answered all my questions and delivered on budget.

My front steps had been crumbling for a while and arrangements with another contractor fell through in the fall. We were getting anxious because the steps were not going to survive the winter. Despite the wet fall weather, Bowman Masonry was able to squeeze us in and got a crew over to redo the steps. We greatly appreciated their responsiveness and professionalism in getting the project done with a minimum of fuss. New steps look fantastic!

Guy worked with us to clean, repair, and re-point a 1875 Victorian private home on Seaton Street, in Cabbagetown. Our masons were consistent and meticulous with their work. Craig, our assigned site manager was easy to communicate with and worked with us to get the details just right. The final product exceeded our expectation. We look forward to working with them next on restoring and rebuilding a few interior fireplaces.

Great service. Installed a liner to get our old fireplace working again. Did a good job and cleaned the job site completely when they were done. Even dealt with a difficult neighbour. Would definitely recommend them for similar work.

We hired Bowman Masonry to fixed a broken window sill and fill in some missing bricks around the outside of our house.
