Convertible Heating And Air Conditioning

Last week Friday the crew from Convertible came over and installed a brand new, high efficiency Amana furnace for us. Their work was quick and clean. The crew, particularly Camille, was very knowledgeable regarding the installation standards, practices and the unit itself.

The week before the installation, it was one of the coldest weeks Toronto has had in about 5 years. Our old furnace broke down and we had a few very cold nights.

Convertible was very professional and we were very happy with their service.

I called Convertible on Friday and Chris came over on Monday. He gave me a very good quote and a choice of installing in a couple of days. Although many prefer to rent, it is much better to own, and a tankless water heater saves you loads in the long run.
Adam & Adam from Convertible installed the unit in a day. They were very polite, courteous and professional. Did a very nice and clean job.

My neighbour's furnace died during one of Toronto's cold snaps— while they were away in Florida. I called my service provider and got a quote. Then I suggested they get a quote from Convertible, the people who had installed their old furnace. To my surprise, Convertible's quote was $600 less expensive for the same furnace. I oversaw the installation and was so impressed by the work Rick and Phil did that I ordered a water tank and the same furnace to replace my 18 year old furnace and asked for Rick and Phil to do the installation. Now we got them to install the matching AC. Nice to know Convertible is a family owned and run business. Well done.

My old furnace died during the recent extreme cold and Mike from Convertible was very quick to respond with a fast and reasonable quote for a new two-stage furnace. The installation was scheduled for the very next day and the installers arrived right on time. They were both friendly and took time to explain what they had to do. They covered the floor from the front door to the basement to keep it clean, dismantled and removed the old furnace and even disconnected a couple of parts I wanted to keep. Within a few hours, the new unit was neatly installed and we had heat once again! We can barely hear the new unit run. In addition to the furnace install, they also helped with a grant application and they made the warranty registration very easy. I am very impressed with the Convertible service right from my initial contact to signing off on a job well done.

The two service technicians David and Craig were certainly top notch, the Furnace and Air Conditioner were installed professionally. The duct work around the furnace was competently carried out, something to be admired. Great work guys! The furnace worked beautifully as the deep freeze came on during Christmas and into the beginning of the New Year. As for the Air Conditioner I will have to wait for summer before making any comments

Good company, no BS'ing. Had numerous companies quote and bid on the job, convertible was the best when it came to cost and had the job done in 1 day.

During the worst cold snap and the day before New Years Eve our motor failed on our furnace. Convertible sent out a technician and gave us all of our options and even loaned us some space heaters until the furnace could be installed. They are professional and I would highly recommend them.
