Very professional and thorough. I was explained in every detail about the scope of work before signing the contract. Phil comes well equipped, works fast and efficiently. He even brings his own printer and produces the report on the spot. In the end, he e-mailed me a set of documents including a copy of the report and all forms and guides to facilitate filling out the warranty forms.

This is the 4th time Acker Home Inspection has inspected one of my homes. This time was in preparation for the Tarion New Home one year inspection. In a previous house in Stittsville, Phil found numerous issues which the builder (Mattamy) had to address under the Warranty. I estimate the cost of repairs at over $16,000.00! Most of the items I would have missed. This latest inspection only uncovered 13 deficiencies but those will equal savings of at least 10 times the cost of inspection.

Phil Acker and his staff are professional, thorough and produce easy to use reports with photos which can be accessed online in a format compatible with Tarion's reporting requirements.

Amazing work by Mr. Acker. He is so patient, took me around the house and showed me all the different things he was looking at. Also told me what filters needs to be changed/washed and how often it needs to be done. Great people and great work.

It was a good experience and he and his team straight away identified a leak in the ceiling and also pointed out the root cause of the leak.
