Daimon came out to do the quote and was polite and professional. He was very knowledgeable in the best trees to plant in the area. The work started a couple of weeks earlier than expected which was great. The crew arrived and work efficiently and completed the work in a few days. Daimon followed up after and explained the watering schedule for the new sod and trees. I am very happy with the finished backyard.

Damián completed the stonework in my back yard, i did my back yard in stages, which also included the front and back steps. he also did the landscaping that surrounds my yard.. he knows his vegetation . there's no nonsense with their company. they start the job and they finish it in good time.i highly recommend Ashlar.

Daimon and his team completed this project a week ago. They are very kind people to work with and more importantly, they listen to your request and try to get it done at the best course of action. We fully updated our front steps, walkway, garden, and driveway last year, and we’re very happy with the outcome. Daimon came out to see us right away, he was great to work with, helped us with several great ideas, and we continue to get compliments from our neighbours. We would definitely recommend.

We had Daimon and his team (Matt and Parker who were great) do a full overhaul of our backyard and we couldn't be happier with the service and result we received.

We had a challenging backyard because it has fairly steep slope with a pool built right into the middle. We just wanted to make it functional and salvage what we could of the sloped area. Where other landscapers only saw challenges and inconvenience, Daimon was able to see what we were looking to achieve as well as add some great ideas to go beyond our expectations. This was our first time doing any type of landscaping and he was the only landscaper that actually took the time to show us options for stone, trees etc. as well as make recommendations based on our needs.

Service included re-grading, drainage, new soil and sod, building retaining wall, interlocking patio around the pool and a river rock/flagstone path along the side of the house. The trees will be coming in the spring!

We will definitely using Ashlar again when we decide to do the front of the house.
