Repaired the flat roof over my commercial unit in the plaza in Thornhill after a rain and ice storm damaged parts of the roof causing leaks.

Those guys showed up first, all equipment ready, jumped on the roof and showed me what needs to be fixed. They came way below some of the roofing contractors that came to quote me and only they showed me the damages with pictures and video.

We have lived in our home for 6 years (new build) with its original roof. About 2 weeks ago, I noticed a small water mark on the ceiling of one of our upstairs bedrooms, and then went outside and noticed that a section of the roof sheeting was exposed and shingles were missing (likely for some time over the past winter). I contacted 3 separate contractors that evening (Sunday) via email, and not only was Jesse the first contractor to respond (within 20 min of the email), but he was also the only contractor to offer to come to our home to perform a full inspection of the roof and provide a quote - other contractors simply gave a standard min. charge for a roof repair, without any idea what had happened.

Jesse arrived at our home at 9 am the following morning and immediately went onto the roof and took a series of photos to give me a perspective on what I was dealing with. Afterwards, he went through each picture to describe the current state of the roof, what we could do repair the exposed section, but also some tips for preventive maintenance to try and get the most life out of the roof we have. Jesse was extremely patient when I asked questions, and spent over an hour with me to ensure I had a thorough understanding of what was going on and the best path forward. The quote for the work was competitively priced considering other quotes I had received from other contractors. Jesse started the repairs the following day, and after everything was said and done, he even knocked off $100 from his original quote, stating that the repairs weren't as extensive as he had previously thought.

About one week later, after a very strong windstorm, we lost a couple more shingles from the roof. I again contacted Jesse, and within 3 days, he was back to repair this section, and to top it off, he didn't charge me anything further for the additional work performed.

I have had some very poor experiences with contractors in the past, so it was an absolute pleasure to work with Roofing Experts. Jesse is very professional and treats his customers with respect. His prices are very reasonable and he completes the work in a very timely manner. Based on these experiences, I will undoubtedly contact Jesse if/when I have to replace my roof in the future.

We had new shingles installed 3 years ago by another contractor and noticed water damage inside around a skylight this summer. I wanted a reputable firm to fix the leak and inspect the entire roof for other potential problems but no one was interested in such a small job. Calls weren't returned or promises to show up weren't kept. Roofing Experts were recommended by 2 neighbours and I met Jesse while he was onsite at a 3rd nearby home. He took the time to inspect my roof, explained the flashing problems with my skylight and how he could correct them, and recommended additional venting given the inadquate length of my 3 years new ridge vent. Very knowledgeable and respectful. I was given a quote to address all the problems and told he could come back the following week to do the work. Not only did he promptly answer my wife's questions about vent appearance and placement by email but his man actually showed up as promised, did the work as quoted and Jesse was there to make sure we were satisified before his employee left. It was a pleasure to deal with someone so pleasant, reliable, and professional as Jesse in an industry not famous for those qualities. Had I used him in the first place I wouldn't have needed those repairs.

Jesse is an owner operator and takes real pride in his work. Not many roofers, nor contractors could care less today.
I have a complicated roof design - several peaks and valleys that are prone to ice damming, in addition to a flat roof component. Jesse made recommendations that made sense. I met with half a dozen roofers from homestars that didn't seem to know what they were talking about - although they all acted as if they did. Most send commissioned sales reps that just want to churn and burn 'em. Jesse was regularly at the job site and doing oversight with his crew. 2 of my neighbours also had this company do their roof and I heard and saw nothing but good things. While the company doesn't have 100's of reviews, don't let this discourage you. It may be better for you - smaller company with more hands on ownership and service quality. I've recommended to a friend after the work was completed. There's a lot more to a roofer than cleaning up the job site after the work is done - that's what most of the bigger homestar profiles/ ratings seem to be based on. Call Jesse after you meet with the other guys, not before, and see the difference.

We urgently needed our roof replaced before the snow started as a building inspection showed that we had old leaks from snow damming and inferior, curling black tiles with no vents causing an overheated, musty roof space. Jesse identified all the problems the building inspector had noted (and more), accommodated the tight time line we had, going out of his way to get the job done quickly and professionally. His team of men were professional and courteous, laid down taupaulines to catch debris and cleaned up beautifully afterwards. Jesse followed up with me every step of the way, explaining everything and checking I was happy with proceedings. The shingle roof looks lovely and is now well vented and flat roof looks great, I can rest assured that we will have no leaks. I highly recommend Jesse and his team for professionalism, speed and great communication along the way.

My house has a large flat roof over the main part of the house and a shingled roof over the garage. They had both been leaking slowly for some time, but had suddently become much worse causing damage to the inside of the home. I immediately starting researching roofers in the area, using Homestars, word of mouth, etc. In the end I got 5 different quotes. Right from the start Jesse from Roofing Experts was the most credible vendor. He provided a short course in roofing, explaining why and how everything had to be done. He provided the most thorough quote, a copy of his business licence, BBB membership, a letter of reference, etc. His price relative to the others was also reasonable.

His crew worked hard through difficult conditions (this was just before Christmas) but worked diligently all day and were always pleasant.

The roof was done on time for the price quoted. Not only have the leaks stopped, but the roof looks outstanding, and it is easy to see that the quality of the work and the materials is much superior to what was there before.

I would highly recommend Roofing Experts especially if you have a flat roof.
