We had Unique custom mouldings and trim do some wainscotting, baseboards and crown moulding Throughout our home. Richard has great communication, fair prices and did the job in a timely manner. Richard did an amazing job in my living room/kitchen and entrance. He installed crown mouldings and that totally changed the look of my house. 5 Stars for UCMT! Wow! UCMT did an amazing job from beginning to end. Communication was clear and prompt. The advice given was in our favour, and with some of our suggestions, we were advised that what was asking either not decoratively appropriate or that we might be better spending our money on another part of the project. They arrived early each day and got set up out on the driveway, and I am sure would not have knocked until the agreed-upon time of 7 a.m. if I had not gone out. We found them to be VERY efficient and thorough, and a bonus was that they were exceptionally polite and cheerful, kept a very tidy workspace (laying down matt; cleaning up after themselves), and that the work on the crown mouldings was exceptional. We like them so much we had them come back to do 3 more room, and hope to have them come again to do the same work in 2 rooms we are still working on. The painter that followed them said that she not seen such fine work; normally, she has to caulk and fill, but 9 rooms, there was not one hole or joint that she had to repair. Richard came out on two occasions to quote and assisted in choosing the right kind of materials - even made the extra effort to find what we were looking for to match our existing trim. He was transparent about the different options and price points.

Overall pricing was fair and he was personable while working.

He provided us good advice and frequently checked in on what we wanted for finishing touches and ensuring we were satisfied.

He kept mess to a minimum and used protective mats around the house. Cleaned up when done and happily provided us the leftover materials.

This is a follow up review regarding the crown moulding installation in our home by Richard Czenez of Unique Custom Mouldings & Trim. Richard completed the installation of crown moulding throughout our entire home in December 2015. The project was completed in a very professional manner... no seams , perfect corner joints , and flush fits throughout. Our painter commented that it was the best installation he had ever seen. Over the past 2.5 years we have received numerous positive comments as to how beautiful the mouldings are and furthermore nothing has shifted or shrunk. An amazing job completed by a very talented young man. We would highly recommend Richard.
