Roofs On Homes A Division Of City 1

I was worried about my roof after the bad winter we had, We contacted Roofs on Homes and got a same day service to check our roof. Chuck came over and found a few things that needed attention. After getting the parts he needed, he fixed all the items of concern and then some. There were some items that did not have to do with the roof itself, but yet he took the time to fix those as well. I would recommend Roofs on Homes to anyone that needs roofing service. Great job.

Danny, Chuck and the entire crew were great from start to finish. No issue with communications and timely replies. Answered any questions we had. They are not the cheapest but also not the most expensive. They started on time early in the morning. They clean up like no others. I have seen many other companies who did the roofs on my street. No one cleaned up like these guys!!!! My driveway is actually cleaner after they finished the job than before... They did a great job on the roof, my neighbour and I are very happy with Roofs on Homes and our new roofs. Would recommend these guys at any time...

These guys were a very pleasant surprise. From my initial request for a quote to the finished work everything they did was punctual, professional and very thorough. When Danny arrived to give me a quote he spent well over an hour on my roof doing a very thorough evaluation, and then he explained everything that needed to be done in great detail. From all the tradespeople I've dealt with over the years, (and I've dealt with a great many) this crew was by far the best. Their communication before, during and after the job was exceptional, and the job they did on my roof was first rate ... actually they went above and beyond by fixing small things that I hadn't known needed repairing. When they completed the job they left my home and yard in pristine condition. I would highly recommend this company for any roofing needs. Danny, Chuck, Norm, Trevor ... the entire crew were a pleasure to hire.

I needed to re-shingle and re-sheath my roof and improve the ventilation of my attic. Roofs on Homes was one of the companies recommended via a colleague involved in insurance claims. Danny came out, completed an inspection and provided a detailed quote at a fair price. Danny also had all the company licencing and insurance in order which is very important when hiring a contractor. I received other quotes that were higher but the reviews on Home Stars sealed the deal and turned out to be accurate..

Danny was very prompt and great at keeping me updated on the schedule and progress of work. A few adjustments including types of roof vents and colour-matched flashing were easily accommodated.

Chuck and the crew were friendly. They efficiently completed the job. They cleaned up exceptionally well, leaving the property without a trace of construction materials or garbage.

Our recent experience with having our roof re-shingled turned out to be a case study in how to create an excellent customer experience. Danny responded very quickly to our initial request for a quotation and was very professional and knowledgeable about the company’s products. He communicated with us on a regular basis both before the job started and while the work was being done to ensure that we were always in the loop about what was going on. The crew arrived on time the first day, were friendly, very professional and did an excellent job on both the roof and the cleanup. Overall, Danny and his team exceeded our expectations. Well done!

That dreaded time came when every home owner has to start calling to obtain quotes for new roofs. We had some companies working int he neighbourhood that gave some quotes that at first glance seemed great but what they offered wasn't even in the same ball park as City 1 Roof Works. I had 6 quotes in total...5 from very reputable companies and one endorsed by a very well known contractor on television. Roof Works explained everything in detail, took the time to answer all my questions, answered both email and phone and provided me the best price for quality work. The crew was professional and polite and took extra care and caution because i have a dog and small children that would be running around in the yard after their cleanup. They took down satellite dishes I no longer needed and cleaned out a down spout for me, all above and beyond the scope of what we had agreed to. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a new roof and/or skylight replacement. Danny and the guys at City 1 Roof Works take pride in their work and did a fabulous job at my residence.

The crew was proficient and the results show in the finished product. Like other reviews, the cleanup was great; you would not have known that any work was done if not for the lawn sign.
