We had a problem with our door initially because it did not have the "speed reducer" which prevents it from slamming when it opens. Apparently you have to be very explicit when you order this door to make sure that this feature is included which is only an extra $34. Alin came out and was able to add that feature in for us. Thank you again!

What could this company do to improve their services?
Be sure to go over all of the available features especially the "no slam" so that people understand what they are getting. Go ahead and UPSELL this item - it is really important!
Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?
When you see a product advertised at a home show, take note of the features and be sure that the product you order has those same features you are looking for.

VERY disappointed in this company! First time they installed the door incorrectly and had to come back. Then left holes in the trim when they fixed it. Then at our first family barbecue we discovered that the screen did NOT have the "speed reducer" which this company boasted about at the home show. Apparently it is an "option" and you have to "ask for that" when you place the order. We have a small dog which the sales rep saw when he was here. Now every person who tries to open the door practically has a heart attack when the door violently slaps open. The company refuses to fix and says we would have to pay another $200 to re-do the door! Not impressed! Check out their website wording below where they describe their wonderful "NO SLAM" product - BEWARE!!

What could this company do to improve their services?
Recognize that they did not clearly understand the customer's needs and therefore replace the product with no cost or at most the actual cost at time of purchase which is only $34. It is obvious to anyone that this is an important feature in a retractable screen. If you do not make sure that people understand it is an added cost and will not be included, you are going to find yourself with a lot of unsatisfied customers!
