We were putting our townhouse up for sale and our real estate agent brought Nicki [last name removed-- Ed] in from Streamline Living to help with the staging of our home. Our townhome was similar to one 2 doors down that had been on the market for 6 weeks with no offer. We brought in Nicki, she did an evaluation, made a list of suggestions listing from highest recommendation to "if you can it would be nice if you could do it" recommendations. We changed things around, did a big declutter as recommended. We purchased a few extra things like pillows and a couple things to hang on the wall in the kitchen. Hung up our own things on walls where she recommended and moved some things from one room to another for better flow. She even told us we had a theme to our house we never knew we had and when she said it we were like "oh ya we do". Our changes were at a very minimal cost to us. Our house was sold in 5 days in a bidding war for more than list price and the house 2 doors down still had no offers. I'd recommend her highly. The cost I put is $150. I believe that is correct and it was 2 hours so $75/hour. Our real estate agent paid her.
