Jansen Contracting Inc. ** No Longer In Business**

We paid and we did not get our job done and we did not get our money back. Not very nice in getting blamed for their work not getting done.

Jansen, and in particular, James Jansen, run a very shady business. Avoid them at all costs, they will take your money and do little to no work. All the recent reviews don't exaggerate. We lived this for 9 months and were owed a ton of money for work we paid for but didn't receive. The only good news is that we recovered most of our funds through our credit company for services not received. If they're still in business avoid them at ALL costs.

after paying and receiving for 40% of the work. we paid another 40% we have not seen or heard from him in weeks. he has all our money. and we are left with an unfinished basement.

HOMEOWNERS BEWARE!!!!!!!! Jansen Contracting was hired by us to complete a basement and recently declared to us and other homeowners they have no more money. Our basement was not completed and alot of the work had to be re done due to extremely POOR workmanship. Trades are threatening us that they will lien our house, Lawyers that trades have hired are contacting us. We have started civil action with this company. Once trades started telling us they were not getting paid, the owner would not return calls. Jansen is full of false promises. Homeowners do your homework. Before you enlist this company call trades they are using. Finishers, painters, ALL OF THEM. If these trades are relatively new you will know the reason why. Find a cost plus contracter - we sure wish we did after this nightmare!

Been meaning to write this review for a while now. Got a Basement done 2 summers ago.

Awesome. Seriously. They came on budget on time. Their staff was extremely friendly and professional. I highly recommend them.

We had them do a family room with a single bedroom and a bathroom. They gave execellent suggestions and listened to our ideas.

At the end of the job they were like family. James even bought our girls a blu ray movie. Would use them again in a heartbeat.

They were excellent on warranty and they followed up on everything. They followed their work order and estimate exactly. They said they would do the job in 14 days and it was done in 14 days. No playing around and delays. They cleaned everything before they left and left everything perfect.

The personal service and care and attention was great. They kept coming back and checking in to make sure everything was okay. They were even respectful to my little dog, which I thought was very important. And I'll definitely use them to do my basement development this year.

They were very good at communicating during the entire project. The craftsmanship was fantastic. And the rapport with their subs made the project enjoyable. We've already hired them again on our rental properties.

On time was very important for me. Clean up priceless!
I would call for an estimate any time and use them again.
My husband loves his new man cave that has heat, flooring and finished off wall lighting. It`s a place he can go and I have my kitchen back.
