We had a pilot light problem. We were told the gas was blocked at the pilot light from corrosion. We were advised the the whole unit head had to be replaced
-Pilot Assembly
-Fast Acting Thermocoupler
The whole job took about 1 hour and the charge was $610.We agreed to have the job done in ignorance, not knowing how simple the replacement would take. We recieved a reciept with no breakdown of the parts and labour. When I called the company and complained the only resolution
offered was to come and remove the parts. That was a ridiculous and
unaceptable solution. The person I spoke to became very defensive and in my view abusive. I explained that I wanted to come to a reasonable solution and remain confident in the companys ethics. I requested a break down of the charges and told the person I would be writing this review.
We are retirees and cannot afford to be used this way. We believe this
price is excessive given the time required and the lack of explanation in advance.

Existing a/c unit was not working. The mr heat technician quickly diagnosed the issue. New a/c unit was installed on time and on budget. The technician also looked after a furnace issue that he noticed; addressed it while the item was still under warranty. Wonderful, friendly service and very prompt. Highly recommend.

Have used Nima at Mr. Heat Mechanical for years. He hooked up my gas fireplace, serviced my old furnace until it gave up the ghost and then installed the new one I purchased from them. Most recently Nima came out to repair my leaking A/C. He is polite, extremely knowledgeable and always gives me all the facts. He is also very prompt and reliable any time I have a problem. And prices are very fair. 10 star service for sure!

It is difficult these days to find a good HVAC or A/C technician who is both knowledgeable and experienced, and also at the same time, gives you a reasonable price.
The first time I contacted Nima (Mr. Heat Mechanical Inc.) was when I got a problem with my 3-years-old HVAC as it kept shutting down every few days. Before Nima, I brought in couple of other technicians, but none of them could fix the problem. And then after some more researches, I gave Nima a call. He came in within 24 hours and found the problem in the 1st 10 minutes. He fixed it in a short period of time with a reasonable price, much less than what I thought originally. I also used his service for replacement of my Hot water tank and a new A/C installation. He did all with excellent service and reasonable price. I dont usually give feedbacks to someone, unless it is A+ ONLY. Keep up the good work Nima!

I rarely write reviews so when I encounter exceptional service I think it is important that an organization be recognized. Today was over 30 degrees and our A/C Central unit (Condenser) stopped working. It was easy to arrange a same day service call and Mike arrived on time & quickly diagnosed the problem. He replaced the malfunctioning part, cleaned relevant parts and replaced the insulation on the refrigerant line & re-caulked the entry point. The real value-add was that Mike took the time to confirm all the maintenance tasks I was performing to extend the lifespan of the unit. Selecting Mr. Heat Mechanical was one of the best decisions we ever made!

Mr. Heat installed our new a/c unit and furnace 3 years ago, and we have been very satisfied with their services from day 1. They were prompt, honest, knowledgeable and reliable. We were given all different kinds of options and explanations, so we were able to make informed decision based on their honest guidance. We are still very happy with our a/c unit and furnace. Although we had some issue with our a/c in this summer as it was not working properly, they came and fixed it quickly with reasonable price.
When our thermostat screen was blacked out after a storm, they came right away to take a look, and replaced the screen with a new one as it was still under warranty.
Issues can happen but how they respond to those issues are phenomenal. I have recommended Mr. Heat to our friends and would recommend to anyone as they are so reliable and pleasant to work with.
