Right from the start they were extremely professional and friendly. Thank you Alex and Dani for taking the time to visit our home and to deliver a timely quote. Once we decided to move forward with Encore we were assigned a project manager, Reza, who oversaw the project from start to finish ... checking in to make sure that the work was being done to our satisfaction. And ultimately, thank you to Tim (the painter) who did an exceptional job on our hallways and stair railings. He was very detailed oriented, very professional and also a very nice man. Review left on 19 Oct 2025Rating: 2 out of 5Interior painting: Walls, Ceilings, Window frames(Updated on 20 Oct 2025)Wrong colour used multiple times, we only had one colour, except for one small wall of wainscoting. Their workers were really nice, useless PM. Poor cleanup, paint bleeding to some wood trim and only put back on half of the faceplates. Why didn’t I get them to come back and fix these issues? We also had a cash deal to finish the built-ins I had built and then paint them. It was $2000 to paint or $2500 to fix imperfections then paint, this was offered after seeing the condition of the built-ins. I chose the $2500 option, was told to stop working on them as they would handle it. They painted them, then said they couldn’t fix them because the work was bad, but still wanted payment for the paint job. I refused as I have to sand it all off to fix the built-ins myself. Turned into blaming me for the poor work. Tell me that before you do the job so I could have finished it before you painted or quote appropriately. Zero integrity, PM argued by text blaming me and he wasn’t being accountable.Answer from pro:
Hi Tyler, Thanks for sharing your feedback. To clarify, all touch-ups in the original scope were completed and faceplates were reinstalled everywhere except areas you were still working on. If anything was missed, we would have gladly returned. The built-ins were a discounted add-on. After priming, we were honest about the extra prep needed, and you chose not to have us continue, it wouldn’t have been reasonable to expect us to finish them at no cost. The colour form was never completed, and the “one-colour” idea was only discussed months earlier, but we still repainted at no charge, including tannin touch-ups. The job was completed in August, and the project manager performed a final walkthrough and touch-ups. We did not hear from you afterward about anything further related to the original scope, so we genuinely believed everything was in good shape. We wish you the best with your project and hope your space turns out exactly the way you envisioned.

Review left on 19 Jul 2025Rating: 5 out of 5Exterior painting: Detached houseReally enjoyed working with Alex, who came to our home, took note of the work we wanted to get done, including painting our gutters, downspouts, windows and sliding doors, and a couple of rooms inside the house. The quote arrived within a day and work was scheduled to start a couple of weeks later. They started right on schedule and the crew arrived on time every day. Jonathan and Marco were excellent painters, had good attention to detail, and used premium paints. Their policy is to have satisfied customers and we are very happy with the work.
