Archie and the Sobol team did a great job with my windows. It was a large project and included substantial brick work as we changed the shapes of some of the window openings. Archie did the work himself and did a fantasic job!

Off to a bit of a rocky start...

They responded quickly to my request but then took a while to send someone to measure, and they don't have the best communication around timing or delays. It took roughly 6 months from inquiry to installation!

But...

When it comes to the actual finished product and workmanship of the installation team, we are very happy. Archie did most of the work solo, which was impressiveI also appreciate that when they finished the job, they cleaned up and showed us everything we needed to know about our new window.

Finally, no more looking at taped broken glass, and we can actually open the window too!

Pro tip: arrange parking for the installation as they need a lot of space for their truck and equipment.

Sobol installed a new doorbox and door, some windows, and it wasn't an easy install because we're in an old 'wartime' house. Archie did great job in working within the peculiarities of our old house.

Pleased with the quality of work in our hundred year old house with a couple difficult site conditions requiring a thoughtful and experienced installer. Robert was exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful while working through different design and product options. We met with three companies and Sobol was the only one to offer an installation warranty. That says a lot about Archies commitment to quality workmanship and customer service.

Archie is a master at window installation. The job required a lot of attention to detail because of it being an older house. Archie and his team devoted the time and effort to do it right. Outstanding work!

We have used Sobol Windows several times and have always been very pleased with the quality of workmanship and level of service. Our kitchen renovation in an older double brick building needed the window to be made smaller to accomodate the the kitchen cabinets and countertop. Archie has expertise in dealing with older buildings and took the time to match our bricks and mortar. He installed a new exterior window sill, which matched the rest of the building. He also re-used the original inner window trim so it continues to match the rest of the windows. Will happily call Sobol Windows again for any future work.

Sobol came highly recommended from neighbours, and we were very pleased as well. From the initial in-home meeting, through installation and clean-up, all the staff were helpful, patient, thorough and professional. Excellent workmanship and prompt! They were finished a half-day earlier than planned. Highly recommended!

Sobol Inc is a great company to work with - skilled, hardworking, and left us with beautiful windows. They cleaned up outside and in, and were here for two days, as planned. A pleasure to work with Sobol from initial discussions regarding the choice of window right through to the finish and the final product. I have been following Sobol Inc. on Homestars, as well as seeing work they have done in my neighbourhood, so when it came time to have some doors replaced in my home I called them for an estimate. Robert was thorough in his explanation of what needed to be done, and the follow-up meeting with Archiel was excellent.

Archiel’s work ethic and his attention to detail is not exaggerated in Sobol's many positive reviews. He truly understands older homes and his work was meticulous and detailed from start to finish. He and his team not only replaced my old sliding doors, but re-built the brick around the doors, matching the old brick perfectly. It was definitely a challenge but Archiel rose to the task without hesitation. And the storm door replacement on the front of my home worked out beautifully as well.

Everyone on the team was on time, courteous, professional and I was kept informed throughout the entire process. I would recommend Sobol Inc. without reservation, and will be contacting them again for future projects.
