During a previous visit to vent our bathroom fan John's people took measurements and I was contacted by Mark with a quote and some options. After careful consideration we decided to use the McLellan team to replace our roof as part of our homeowners insurance requirements. The company is a pleasure to deal with. They provide options, and do not pressure you into deciding upon anything. Their prices are very reasonable for the quality of service you receive and the materials they use. The workmen showed up on-time and made sure there was no messes over the 2 days they were here. They dropped off and removed their trailer and equipment in a timely fashion and we could not be happier with the work they did. We will be booking them again shortly to replace our porch as well as take out a wall in our living room. Thank you Mark, John and team!

We had some cheap eavestroughs and were damaged in one location. After living with them for a year it was clearly time to make a change.

Mark stopped by and gave us a quick, no hassle quote. As always great communication with the office and the onsite installers did a awesome job. They even check out the roof while up there here and packed up a small hole.

The sales agent Michael noticed my roof with a tarp on and left a note to call to have my roof done for the last time. I called and within a day he was able to meet me and explain the McLellan roofing process and the materials used. He was very knowledgable. Then before May was over, the crew came and did an awesome job. I only have praise for the crew and the team at John Mclellan Contracting. True professionals. Great job.

My wife and I had the guys from Mclellan install siding on a second floor jutout that we had no interest in repainting. On the same day they also installed a new rear sliding glass door for us. They did an excellent job on both projects and highly reccomend them!

We had John install new windows at the front of the house when we moved in, but put the back windows off for later.
By the time we were ready to get them done we had some damage and staining from a leak that needed repair, which would then need painting, all in a three storey open area.
Under the heading of "while he is here" we threw a replacement upper deck door into the mix, and then a ceiling fan in that same three storey open area!
John pulled together a crack team who triaged the whole thing over less time than I thought possible, particularly when you consider that by the time he got here we had added motorized blinds (see my separate review) so we needed additional electrical (like I said in the header - plus plus plus!).
Everything looks great and he got it done in the time he promised.
We have used John more than once, and he never disappoints - highly recommended.

We had a our roof leak, the situation was stressful. We Called 4 company's. 1 company did not show up , 1 company came in at a very low quote but the salesman could not answer my basic questions. the 3rd Company came in with a quote around the same as John but he could not accommodate me for 3 weeks, I was also not feeling 100% comfortable with him. We Went With John,We had working down by him before. He explained the situation very well, He took the time to review my options. His crew was there 2 days after the estimate and completed the job same day. the work was fantastic - Thanks John and Crew you helped me get out of a very bad situation. I would Recommend you team in a heartbeat. I trust my home to nobody else

John and his team recently did an accessible bathroom renovation in my home for my son. The results were beyond comparison. My son now has a completely accessible bathroom (commode, shower, sink) attached to his bedroom as well as full access to a wheelchair accessible porch lift directly from his bedroom. This renovation is life changing for my son and I can't say enough wonderful things about how beautifully it turned out, how quickly it was completed and how very professional and friendly his entire team was. They kept the house as clean as possible throughout, which is so important to my son's health and they did everything that they could to accommodate schedules and all the necessary details. What a FANTASTIC job!

We are new homeowners and had some work the inspector suggested we get done. We made some calls to various contractors.

John arrived onsite with great enthusiasm and went above and beyond my to-do list. Educating and pointing out some other items we could also do.

We met John McLellan last year when we decided to renovate our attic to a movie room. John has an abundance of valuable knowledge that he freely shares when he gets involved in your project. We hired him to install a velux skylight at a cost of $1648.00. But we also needed a plumbing boot ($85.00) for the new exhaust stack and a bathroom exhaust fan (110.00). John supplied and installed these additional items for a great price because he was already there on the roof installing the skylight. The estimate cost sheet he provides thoroughly details the work to be performed and the time frame for completion. All the work was completed on time and I am very satisfied with the workmanship. In fact we loved the skylight so much that we ordered another one and he installed that too!! Then we ordered a new window for the dorm area of the attic and he installed that! We will certainly hire him again for additional future projects that need professional installation.
