Dryshield Basement Waterproofing

If you don't believe that there are contractors out there who is extremely honest, trustworthy, strives to do the absolute right thing you should think twice because DryShield.ca is out there to prove you wrong. My basement was flooded during July 8, 2013 heavy rains in Toronto due to sewerage backup. As a result of emergency work the walls and floors were all lifted up. I spotted a corner which concerned me. I needed a professional advice. I talked to 2 other contractors which both suggested some work done, one from inside, another from inside. Then I called DryShield.ca. They addressed to my call promptly (I should thank Elvira for that) and Roy came to check the next day. I couldn't believe to my ears as Roy provided his expert opinion about my concerns. I couldn't stop myself from shaking his hand for his genuine and pristine recommendations. We need more people like Roy who treats his customers in the same way he would want to be treated. I thought that such people/companies deserve to be known/used by more consumers. My rating for DryShield.ca is 10 with five stars.

I thought I had a leaky foundation as water was pooling around various spots around the basement. I had a few repair quotes in the $5,000+ range and was worried about the cost. Roy came by and suggested that it may be condensation from my furnace causing the wet spots. I Had the furnace looked at and repaired for a fraction of the cost! Roy was genuine, compassionate and more than willing to help me spending more time with me at appointment than I would have ever expected! Thank you ROY !

Great customer service and excellent to deal with. The owner specifically was excellent and the price was very fair compared to others. I checked around other sites and by far dry shield was the best price! Very happy overall with the service.

Jake, Germaine and the whole crew were fantastic. It was great teamwork. They finished the whole job in two days. They worked well, knew what they were doing and answered all my questions. They left the place clean. Great job!

DryShield offers a backup pump that augments your exiting sump pump. However it also has an alarm and a backup battery. So no matter if the power goes out in the middle of a storm or your existing pump dies in the middle of the night you're protected and your basement won't flood. Thanks for the peace of mind DryShield.

The guys were professional from the off-set. Jonathan provide me with a timely estimate and quick and accurate responses to my many questions before the project started. As a project manager myself, I had many questions and was very particular about the work. The project was completed on time, on schedule and according to the estimate (which was lower than competitors prices for the same work).

Overall, I am very pleased with the company and the staff.

Jeremy arrived promptly at 8:00AM, removed the sheet rock, and injected the expanding sealing compound. All in less than 30 minutes. He was personable and professional. Plus their work is guaranteed for life. It doesn't get better than this!

The crew had 2 days where they were no shows. The drywall man they recommended has yet to finish the job (20 feet of drywall and 10 tiles, baseboard )in over a month. Chris the supervisor did not call back the way he said he would. The cement work they did was uneven. I think the system works, have not seen any water so far but the crew was surprised the salesman had not mentioned getting a better sump pump system .When I asked the salesman in the beginning , he said I did not need more than I had but what the crew suggested ..too late.. would have been a great idea. I would have liked the option to choose. The Dryshield staff were courteous, hardworking and clean. They just did not show up on the booked days causing me extra expense. I trusted their advice on the drywall man and regret it. My basement is not usable til this mess is sorted out.

Dryshield's crew arrived at the site on time. As soon as the started to break ground, it was evident that they were very hard working and focused on the task at hand. They took the extra time to attach a clay pipe carefully and were sure to clean up any mess that was a result of the work. They are a great group of guys. We highly recommend Dryshield and their services.
