Excellent roofers. Came to review work site, discussed work with me, provided estimate when they said they would, provided shingle options, arrived on time to start work, focused on the job at hand, finished job on time. I'm very happy with the results

One section of our roof had been in bad shape for a while but the last straw for us was when raccoons pooped all over our roof. Simon had previously done my parents' roof several years back, and within a week of contacting him, he came over for a consultation. He let us know that the other parts of the roof had clearly been replaced in the past, but this section had not due to the difficulty of getting to it. He was extremely diligent and thorough, adding an additional vent and flagging a few other issues he spotted while outside. Had an excellent experience and highly recommend Simon and Guildwood Roofing!

After sales/installation service is even more important than initial sales/installation. Guildwood does well in both. My neighbour and I had our roofs done by Guildwood about 8 years ago. Since installation, we called them twice on different issues, and they came promptly to inspect or take care of our roof. Owner Simon is a real gentleman and a pleasure to do business with. After researching and getting estimates for what felt like years, I finally landed on Guildwood Roofing based on numerous recommendations within our local facebook group and Simon's amazing attention to detail when quoting. Simon was prompt and quick at communicating and when he arrived to provide the estimate, he did his due diligence to find any potential issues and flag them upfront rather than it being an added cost down the road.

The price was pretty much on par with the majority of the quotes I received but Simon's responsiveness, clarity and the recommendations from my neighbours ended up standing out.

We had our entire roof (shingles) and aluminum replaced on a 50's ranch bungalow and the whole process was done in just 3 days with excellent worksmanship and cleanliness. After completion, I noticed a small storm window in the basement had been broken my accident during the work and Simon was quick to respond and had it replaced as soon as possible.

I suppose only time will tell if the work was done to the highest standards (ie no leaks and lasts a long time) but, I would highly recommend Simon and the team at Guildwood to anyone looking to replace their roof / alumium. It was clear a lot of care and experience went into the work and I appreciate the confidence I had in them to take on such a stressful renovation for myself and my family.

We contacted Simon based on a recommendations from our neighbour. He was very timely in his visit and he gave us good advice. He always considered our position as a customer and offered options to suit our home and budget. He and the crew arrived early and completed entire job in one day. We contacted Simon in January, 2022 to get him to quote on a new Black Ashphalt roof for our house along with Black Metal roofing for the front part of our house as well as all new Eavestoughing around the entire house.

Later in the spring we then decided to upgrade our 2nd floor windows around the entire house and asked for Simon to delay doing our roof which was no problem for Simon and his team.

Prior to Simon starting the work we realized we could use eavestoughing around our Pool Shed which is near the back of our property and we asked Simon if he could repurpose some of the current existing eavestoughing around our house and move it to our Pool shed. He was able to do this for a very reasonable additional charge.

Simon and his team began the work on our house in late August (after our windows were upgraded in July) and then as the work had been partially completed we decided to also have Simon replace our aluminum Soffits at the same time (so the colour would match the new eavestoughs). Simon was very accomodating and provided us with what we considered to be a fair price for this last minute change.

Guildwood Roofing also installed new Rooftop Vents as well as a new Skylight on the upper part of our roof.

We were very happy with the work Simon and his team did and would highly recommend Guildwood Roofing.

(As an aside, this is the 2nd time we have worked with Simon and he is very professional in all his dealings with us).

We picked Simon as he was able to replace the roof, soffit, downspout and eaves. We wanted one company who could take care of everything.
