I replaced my roof 7 yrs ago with Guildwood Roofing, due to the high winds we been having lately piece of the tile broke off. I called Simon, with no hassle he came and replace the tile within a week.

Simon came to extend a short downpipe which was not extending into the eavestrough so that water would pour down the roof during rain. He was careful to select the correct materials and showed up on time to install the pipe when he said he would. Simon was referred to me by someone whose opinion I highly trust/value so that alone is a reason to recommend Guildwood Roofing. Simon was very professional and thorough. He also gave me a free estimate on a roof that I will most likely be replacing in the near future.

My roof needed to be redone adap and I wasn't sure who to call. On my way to work I saw a sign for guild wood roofing so I called. I had previously got a quote from another company but unfortunately they would never return my calls. So when I called simon he gave me a quote and it it was very good. He and his crew showed up and were super fast. They did my roof and separate garage in two days and were very clean. When they were done simon showed me around asking if I was ok with the job. Skip to two years later I have sold my house and got an inspection done. The inspector said he saw a lifted shingle(inspectors can't go on roofs or ladders apparently?) the inspector il used his phone to take pics and enlargened them. Anyway long story short is I called simon after two years and told him. He came by right away and took a look and there was nothing..I wasn't surprised by this as I could not even see the lifted shingle. Simon is a great guy and has great customer service. The job is done fast and clean.
If u need a roof done use guild wood.

Oh and on a side note even after the job was done and they were leaving Simon told one of his men to go back up and adjust a few shingles because he wanted it perfect. I couldn't tell but it looks great.

Our roof started to leak during the worst rainstorm we can remember. Checking the Yellow Pages I called 3 different local roofing companies looking for help. Not one returned my call. Then I found a small ad for Guildwood Roofing and it said Emergency Repairs. Much to my surprise Simon answered the phone, listened to my problem and said he would be at my door in 30 to 45 minutes. It was Sunday, pouring rain, yet he came as promised. Climbed onto the roof and made several temporary repairs to stop the leaks. Because he was so helpful we asked for a quote to do the whole roof. Simon came inside and showed us his portfolio about his business. His metro license, workers compensation, liability insurance, better business bureau and several certificates from roofing manufacturers, all up to date. His price was very reasonable and he was contracted to do the reroofing in 2 weeks. One week passed and he called to say he could have his crew in on Sunday morning to do the job. The crew were very courteous, did a fabulous job and cleaned up so well you would not know they had been there. Simon came by on Monday to inspect the work and check if we were satisfied before receiving payment. It doesn't get any better than that. We would highly recommend Guildwood Roofing, Simon and crew to all our friends and neighbours. Thank you Simon.

I received many quotes and Guildwood was one of the better ones even with better shingles. Simon was the only company that gave me the quote in person and answered all my questions. The roof looks great and I am very happy with the job. Highly recommended.

After a very windy day last fall, I was looking at missing shingles on our roof just as an acquaintance who is a well established realtor in the neighborhood was driving by. He stopped to say hello and asked if he could help. I asked about a reputable roofer and he recommended I contact Guildwood. I called and Simon got back to me the same day and made an appointment to come and inspect the damage the next day. He kept the appointment and patched up the roof within an our, suggesting the roof may need reshingling in a year or two. Earlier this spring we decided to get some quotes, from Guildwood and three other well known (advertised) roofing companies. Simon was first off the mark. Company B showed up promptly a week later, produced a proposal on the spot and that was the last I heard from them. Company C missed their appointment and when I called them the next day we arranged for a second try and got my 3rd quote. Company D never bothered calling back to respond to my quote request message so I imagine they had more business than they could handle.

Not only was Guildwood's quote most reasonable, my experience with Simon was both tangible and positive so it was a nobrainer to contract with him. Most calls with questions were answered very promptly and as the suggested date of the job was approaching I was called a couple of times to firm it up and be provided with last minute pointers.

The job itself was carried out by a crew that was clearly well experienced and worked together in complete harmony.

The perimeter of our house was left in a pristine condition with all debris (especially nails) removed from both ours and neighbour's properties.

The morning after the job was done, Simon went up on the roof to inspect everything and even produced some pictures of areas I could not see from the street level.

I had my roof replaced by Guildwood Roofing seven years ago and they did an excellent job. They arrived on schedule, did an outstanding job quickly and the property was left extremely clean before they had left.

Last week we had a very bad wind storm that resulted in a couple of shingles being broken off the roof. Concerned about potential water damage from the next rainfall I thought I would call Guildwood Roofing to see if they would be able to help address the problem. Not only did I reach someone right away to resolve the problem, but to my surprise was at my front door within a 24hrs. Wow, was I surprised.
