Joe and his team just finished work on my basement, and I wanted to jump online and shout "Hey everyone - we found a great contractor!"
To start with, Joe did all the big things right. He showed up and worked when he said he would, he was always clean and considerate, and he used his initial quote as the final bill - no padding or mysterious charges when the work was done.
But it's the little things that really impressed me. Joe and his team are great problem solvers, and that's hugely important when renovating older houses. Joe was never fazed when I asked him to do something out of the ordinary (like build a curved bulkhead) or install something we hadn't flagged earlier. He never made me feel stupid or unwelcome for asking a question or involving myself in the reno.
We'll be shifting our focus to the old kitchen and bathroom soon, and there's no question in my mind that Joe and his team will be the first ones we call. Good luck with your renos and projects, everyone!
