Of the three companies that we received quotes from we chose to go ahead with Galaxy Windows & Doors. It wasn’t for the cost but mainly because of the thorough knowledge of their sales representative Dmitri. He was patient, took lots of time in answering every question in detail and was very professional from day one until the end of the job where he came for the final inspection. Their installation team of Alex and Vlad were just as friendly and professional. They did a superb job with replacing all the windows and exterior doors and we could not be happier. If we had to do it all over again we would definitely call them back without hesitation. Thank you very much gentlemen and keep up the good work!

My parents had Galaxy Windows and Doors install new windows at our family home a few years back. When my fiancé and I purchased our first home, there was never any doubt as to which company we would choose. Dmitri, Alex and team are nothing but professional. They get back to any telephone call and email in a timely manner and take the time to walk you through this new investment in your home. The window installation took nearly the entire day but the end result was definitely worth it. The curb appeal of our home has improved substantially with the new casement windows. Dmitri even popped by during the installation to ensure we were satisfied and was there to answer any questions after.

Even though the installation was postponed once, and we waited for around 12 weeks, the end result was great.
We have changed half of the windows at our old house, plus two doors. Everything was handled in two days without any problem by Alex and Vlad. They are real professionals in installation, they are hardworking and very respectful. The job they do will happily be recommended to anybody looking for windows and door replacement.

Earlier this year, we needed to replace half the windows in our house as well as all the outside doors. Based on the recommendation of our daughter, who has several doors and a small window installed by this company, we contacted Galaxy Windows.

Dmitri was very responsive and patient with us as we expanded the scope of the project several times during the consultation (adding more windows to the project that we originally were not going to replace) and even changed the design of the front door a few times while Dmitri was writing up the contract :) Even though I'm sure we drove him crazy with all the changes, he was very understanding and accommodating and gave us an excellent price.

The installation went quickly and smoothly. Alex was very friendly and worked very efficiently in installing all the new windows and doors. The cleanup that Alex and his crew did was wonderful - they packed up and removed all the old windows and doors and seemed to have left my house cleaner than when they arrived.

Galaxy Windows did a very good job with the sales, installation and other service items. They were timely in their arrival to our home, did the work efficiently and cleaned up where necessary.

We are thoroughly satisfied with the work done by Galaxy Windows and we would highly recommend this company. From the initial consult with Dmitri and until the job was completed, Dmitri and his team were on top of things at all times. The job was done efficiently and professionally. We were particularly impressed that Dmitri dropped by to inspect the job himself. He noticed that the bathroom frosted windows were not all consistent and had the window manufacturing company (Hometech) replace them within days (we didn't even realize they were incorrect in the first place). The windows look great from the inside and outside. We also felt the price was competitive for the quality we received.

Update, it has been two years and everything is perfect and we love the windows!!!!!

We started our selection process based on the homestars ratings, where we picked 5 companies and got quotes. Many of them were not knowledgeable, their products inferior, and their approach left us concerned with regards to honest, integrity and stability. Then we met Dmitri from Galaxy Windows and by far he was the very best of the lot. He was the most professional, knowledgeable, honest, and took the time to ensure we understood the option and costs. He did not let us spend money needlessly and ensured we did not to things we would regret later. He has high integrity. His price was good compared to most of the others; one was a bit lower, but we had no confidence in them, their installers and if they would be around in the future. So for a few dollars more we went with the best in terms of sales, product and installation. We choose retrofit installation as the wooden frames were in great shape, we wanted to keep the internal design features and keep the costs reasonable. We decided to go with windows manufactured by window city; I visited their factory and was happy with their product for the costs. The installers Vlad/Alex showed up as scheduled and in 1 full day completed the installation. They were very professional, they did very good job at our house - I was very impressed and would say they were the very best from both a workmanship quality and customer service perspective. They check with me on every step to ensure I was 100% satisfied as each window was done, when they ran into a few surprises on one widow from weather damage, they could not see until the old window was removed, they fixed it perfectly at no charge or fuss. One of the windows was in the basement in a very small and deep window well and they still completed the job perfectly and the capping and caulking was great! In the living room they replaced a large three bay window and did not damage any of the mill work dividing the three windows; which other companies said to remove, Dmitri assured us it would be fine and look great, he was so right. When they finished the job there was a full inspection and they cleaned up everything perfectly. Dmitri came by during the job to inspect it and ensure we were happy, now that's follow-up and commitment to quality and service. We are very happy with windows and installation and I would not hesitate to recommend them - they did extremely good job. Our home is quieter, warmer, and the windows work perfectly.

We replaced original wood windows in our Edwardian period home with vinyl. Galaxy matched the original style of the windows as closely as possible. I had delayed for years because I didn't want to lose the wood, but was delighted with the new windows. The work was professional and of high quality. On time and exactly as promised. We actually replaced windows at the back and side a year ago and were so pleased decided to go ahead and do the front (bay) windows this year. Couldn't be more pleased.
