Dark pine table and chairs restoration

Our table and chairs had 40 years worth of chips, dents, wear and a huge water mark. The glue on the chairs had dried out and the chairs were no longer safe to sit on.
TMC Restoration reglued all joints on the table and chairs so they are now sturdy. They don’t creak or make any noise when you sit on them.
TMC also completely restored all of the chairs and the table. No more chips or dents and the large water Mark was completely removed. I had them change the colour of the table and chairs to match our hardwood floors. The colour match was perfect. That couldn’t have been easy with the furniture made of pine and the floors made of oak.
They completed the work about one month earlier than expected and we couldn’t be happier with their work. The table and chairs will now look great for the rest of our lives.
Their work isn’t cheap, but we thought it was reasonable once the process was explained to us. The quality of the workmanship is first rate and well worth the investment. Don’t settle for a cheaper solution. Listen to how TMC does everything by hand and you will realize how valuable their service is.
It is very hard to find new furniture with the quality and workmanship available 40 years ago so if the furniture has been in your family for a while. or is treasured, trust TMC.

Approximate cost of services:
$4,000.00

Company Response

Thanks for the detailed review. You're right - some orders require extra attention but our goal is to make you happy. And it sounds like we did! Complete restoration can seem expensive up front, but over the long term it is the economical & sustainable choice. Your furniture truly was built to last, meaning it stands up to restoration because each component is solid & the overall design allows for it to be pulled apart & put back together. New furniture - even high-end new furniture - cannot stand up to such treatment. Enjoy!
