After two months of working on our house(original estimate was 3 weeks), Mark's employee informed us that he would not be returning the following day because he was still owed over 100hrs of work.
We asked Mark the next day what was going on, and he told us that he has run out of money because he has had to pay wages etc. He realized then that we knew that this was not true and he lost it. He refused to return to finish the job, has not returned our calls, and has left us with a bill of almost $30,000(originaly estimate was $16,000) and has still not paid his employee.
Mark Pellar was unprofessional, insulting, and used profanity when he knew that he was caught being dishonest.
We realized later that previous customers of his were left unsatisfied with his work.
