Star City Moving

I decided to go with StarCity Moving because of the good reviews I read. They lived up to their reputation! Rachel was super helpful and friendly when I called to schedule the move. Dean called the day of the move to let me know they were on the way. They were on time - a few minutes early, in fact - and did an EXCEPTIONAL job. They carefully wrapped all the furniture, and padded the front door of my place so as not to scratch or bump anything when they came in. I had a few miscellaneous items to put in the garage and without me asking, they stacked everything neatly up against the walls and out of the way. They even helped me arrange the furniture in my new place. I'd definitely recommend StarCity Moving and will use them the next time I have to move. Awesome service.

I had to relocate with very little notice and I contacted three separate moving companies for quotes. Dean, from StarCity, was the last person to come to my house. He was extremely attentive - understood what I needed and all those little things I was worried about - and was the only one to provide me with a flat moving rate. At first I hesitated - when something seems to be too good to be true it often is. But ended up being far and away the best move I've ever had.

On moving day, Tom, Rich and Rufino (the moving team) showed up promptly and did an amazing job. I have never seen guys move with such consistent speed, take such caution with fragile things, protect the walls, light fixtures, etc., and do the whole thing with smiles on their faces.

My NYC move with StarCity proved to be an extremely pleasant experience.

I have used StarCity twice now, and I would recomend them to anyone. I just used them last weekend for a move from a 3rd floor walk up in White Plains to another 3rd floor walk up in Tribeca, and they were so fast and professional. It took them less than 5 hours to move my boyfriend and I's very cluttered 3 bedroom apartment. They were very careful with my stuff (even my old already scratched and dented furniture was wrapped carefully).The new apartment wasn't completely ready for a move in, so everything from the old apartment had to be squeezed into one small bedroom, but they were able to arrange it just right so that it all fit in. I will use them again for any other moves I have!
